Where does it confirm he’s the highest paid CEO in the NRL ? The WT gig is probably hardest of them all. So the pay packet is high. And how do you know Shaun’s salary ?

Who in their right mind would want to serve on that board, not what you'd call a collection of Einsteins, but you'd be an expert at watching your back for sharp objects.

As I understand the Bula situation, he is contracted until the end of 2026.
WT have an option to sign Bula on $900k for 2027, which expires mid May 2026. If WT don’t take up this option it triggers a Bula option to extend for 2027 at $800k.
If both options are declined then Bula is a free agent in November 2026.
WT have proposed, that rather than take up the $900k 2027 option , they scrap both trigger options and introduce a long term contract.
Details of the new WT deal are still being negotiated but the club obviously wants to tie up Bula at least until 2028 or maybe to 2030?
I know all the talk surrounding this contract has been positive, but with Richo not there to close the deal it’s anyone’s guess if the debenture team can make it happen?

No one knows how long the coach is here for.
Maguire was sacked less than year after his extension.
Impossible to buy what you are being sold at this club - hence the hesitation and the clauses.

A CEO who has been involved successfully with 4 NRL clubs, including rebuilds and premierships vs a Transformed Marketing Manager who has been the CEO of a soccer club.

No dig on Shaun, he's potentially quite capable, but there is a reason why Richo was paid more. Despite all the talk from HBG contributing to the club, they have a funny way of showing it if the CEO wage was an issue.

If you got 2 quotes to paint your house and one was more than double to do the same job, I assume you would take the cheaper quote ?

Except we hired the more expensive quote first with the agreement that if we don't provide him with brushes (board) he wants then we will pay him out and he doesn't have to finish the job. We then break our end of the agreement so we are not only paying him we need to then get the 2nd painter as well.
Paying 2 painters for one job doesn't save us money.

No. What's obvious is that you have an agenda against Richo and his family.

It's also obvious that your logic is flawed.

If Walsh was on the market for $1million and Kennedy for $950k, you'd take Kennedy cause hes cheaper?

You continually over simplify things to suit your narrative. You look for every excuse to kick Richo, the bloke who was responsible for the club making a profit...

With your logic, we'd have the same old ceos who had the club running at a loss because "they are cheaper".
