Honestly,Satire and Parody of you aside - Why is it an act of groupthink for Wests Tigers fans to support Benji Marshall as our coach when the club has been inexorably getting better with him in charge.?? Actually why?? Give me two well defined and measurable reasons why supporting Benji as a coach means you've joined 'The Sheeple"? What does someone who has not Joined the Sheeple see that us sycophants don't?? I think its just a bunch of made up nonsense on your part Tucker. Don't give a glib one sentence answer Tucker, prove me wrong...
Yay, awesome rule change. With coaches now being able to have 6 bench spots named to use only 4 I can see him get a run if he sets the world on fire early in reggies.
He wasn’t brought back to be a nsw cup player long term and Benji likes to play youth.
What a load of crap. Credit is always given where due by us so called negative posters. And if we’re having a good year there will be no credit for it by the anti Benji group. 😂
It’s the praying on his downfall vibes that’s what is weird to us supporters, we should all want the team and coach to succeed.
Only 17 can still be used out of 19Yay, awesome rule change.
I hated the whole "pick 4"
particularly as Halfback, Fullback, Hooker and others are specialist positions.
Running with 6 where you have a half, a back and a forward spare is a great idea. It does mean your Depth gets tested a little more, so you have 1-19 that could take the field.
2026, I may actually agree to some depth signings.
extremely silky and has the mentality to succeed (broke his back as a teenager, handles clutch moments supremely well), but he's got that big tall lumbering body that can go either way in grade. when you're a half in that body shape, it can be extremely difficult to bed down and remain in the halves. look at Wighton, Burton, even Curtis Sironen.
really hope he makes a fist of it, but I do think at this point he'll be lucky to get a debut in 2026, as much as I like him. especially if Doueihi starts in the halves over Latu which looks to be the case.
I must of hurt your feelings there 😂What a load of crap. Credit is always given where due by us so called negative posters.
No one is praying for his downfall and what this “us supporters”? That is just childish garbage.
The real negative haters of this club show up when the season begins.
You’ll find them in the live game day thread going ballistic at how shit this club is by the 10th minute of the game. Those discussing the squad now are not a part of that group of fans.
Their best signing so far.Nick Meaney Perth Bears
In my opinion Shaun M needs to remove the mid season Bula contract distraction before the season or Benji 2026 will suffer the same fate as Benji 2025 and again there’s going to be ready made excuses. When the time comes, it will be more than just Tucker and myself. It’s all fine in January, most are vehemently against seeing any negatives at this time of year. After a few losses in May and June, the outlook is very different. He won’t have many friends here if we’re languishing in the bottom 4.
I was 17 years old at Benji's debut and he played footy like a Pablo Picasso painting,
Solid signingNick Meaney Perth Bears
I’d probably say if he can learn to tackle.
Any idea what sort of dollars they lured him with?Their best signing so far.
No idea. 700-750k if I had to guess.Any idea what sort of dollars they lured him with?
I would imagine it would be a pretty good pay day for him.
Of course you didn’t.I must of hurt your feelings there 😂
