Im referring to when they first came here more than what they actually played like once in our system.

What a load of crap. Credit is always given where due by us so called negative posters.
No one is praying for his downfall and what this “us supporters”? That is just childish garbage.
The real negative haters of this club show up when the season begins.
You’ll find them in the live game day thread going ballistic at how shit this club is by the 10th minute of the game. Those discussing the squad now are not a part of that group of fans.
Not to mention we havent played finals in a very long time and although we cant blame Benji for those years, he has been coach for past couple of wooden spoons and with a very improved squad we played some very very average football, so members have the right to there opinion . Im hoping Benji has learned a lot from his past couple of seasons so i am expecting an improvement. i think its clear at the end of the day we ALL want the WT to do well or you wouldnt waste your time on this forum regardless of wether your a Benji fan as a coach or not.
Like i said b4 i think 2026 will be the making or breaking of Benji as a coach. If all these players are threatning to leave because they are all totally behind him, they need to show us on the field in 2026 and play finals, not thru media threats.

Could be, but I don’t think it’s a done deal yet.

He’d be a good fit after letting TDS go. I could see him backing up Api and jumping into most of our back line spots.
Player to build a team around ,if he can handle the pressure.
Hate 2 b the 1 , think chatter is Wishart to WA-bears - boo boo ,boo the bears

It's rare that 18/19 year olds kill it in grade off the bat and if they do, their bodies can't handle it for a sustained period.

I'm happy if they are all carving up NSW cup first and build some confidence, physicality and fitness. If they are good enough, NRL will come.

Attard is a bit older and from a good system, so he may get a run with injuries and would be good to see we have a genuine backup fullback.

Maka will get his chances too, but rotating him in and out until he matures a bit is the right thing to do.

Don't see Andrews getting a go this year, but stranger things have happened.
I don't think the original poster was suggesting first grade soon. But after a year of hopefully dominating cup and maybe getting some runs in first grade (especially maka) 2027 could be exciting with these young guns! Add Phoenix to the mix too

If Bula leaves could be a AJ Brimson
Brimson was an elite junior and has excelled in first grade, just had injury problems holding him back. Mason hasn't yet dominated at any grade. Flegg and cup he's extremely hot and cold. After being thrown into fullback he still hasn't quite adjusted to it, struggles too much positioning.
He's got good acceleration and might be a handy utility, or a fill in when there's a mid game injury but I certainly don't see him starting in the backs again anytime soon.

In 23 we had the worst attack and second worst defence
In 24 we had the worst attack and the worst defence
In 25 we had the third worst attack and 5th worst defence.
Those stats are immaterial to your point, because they're mostly non-transferable metrics. They're stale — look at 23 its a totally different roster, and Luke Brooks was our key player! Study statistics properly before using on here ad nauseam.

In any case, your stats are also incorrect in other ways. We in 25 scored the 3rd fewest points, but that doesn’t mean we had the 3rd worst attack. Counting those raw numbers to make a solid argument ignores the fact we lost Galvin smack bang in the middle of the season and only (finally!) got a strike centre at the ass end of it. You'd go far in a 2021 WT boardroom.

Stale stats and flawed metrics. Try again hahaha. Prove me wrong. The Sheeple still standing tall!

Mate, I hope you’re joking. They are our future winners, and they’re solid talent that any club would take off our hands immediately.

As a moderator, we don’t need your opinion, we just need you to do your job without bias.
I took it that you would prefer these guys over Bula, Luai etc...their time will come

If you dont want my opinion then put me on ignore

Only 17 can still be used out of 19
But you have 19 on the bench. So you can choose from 6 instead of 4.

I just realised how much this will advantage teams like Brisbane and Storm. Any injuries to Walsh/Munster/etc and their high quality Juniors will be ready to step in.
