6 years is a long time.
No one knows if he's even thrown a footy since he went inside.
Nothing wrong with watching a few A grade games and seeing how he goes with a NSW Cup contract in the back of your mind, but he hasn't even said he wants to play.
It's a nice story, but a lot needs to happen for him to be taking up a top 30 spot.
The only thing potentially going for him if he still has it is we really don't have a decent backup hooker if Api goes down and given how long hookers are playing, he could have another 5-7 years left.

Yep - what’s the urgency…
We hold all the cards with the rest of his brothers under contract.
If he wants to join them, he has it all to do. We don’t have to do a thing…

Good intel, I retract my suggestion of Ray Stone. I just did some more research & he has had a few surgeries over the off-season too (both shoulders) his body is pretty banged up.

If not Ray Stone, a forward of his ilk as experienced depth would still be valuable to us atm.

Agreed. We want the Fainus with WTs long term, and the club can sweeten the deal for all by offering an incentive-based deal to Manase. Being in a nurturing environment with his brothers plus players like Pole, Bula, Doueihi and co will assist with his life moving forward. Gaol is no doubt a tough place and he has handled it. He's worth an opportunity.
 
How long do we have to deal with this Manase crap? It’s even worse than the chatter about Tyrone May. At least Tyrone as average as he is, has been playing the game on the regular for the last 6 or 7 years. But this, he hasn’t played since before Covid. If he had a different last name, no one would give a toss. He committed a serious crime and there is zero indication if he’s even properly rehabilitated. Just give it a rest.
