That is a strange report as the whole reason the Broncos have signed Jonah Pezet from 2027 onwards was to replace Adam Reynolds, so it was no secret.

And we thought it only happened at Wests Tigers.
It makes sense now, he wanted those clauses so he has the option to go to RL360 whenever he feels like it.
If RL360 returns as planned for 2028 he will only play the one season with Souths.

The Broncos were not going to sign him for 3 years with clauses that he can leave after each season if he wants to.
I thought it was only Wests Tigers via Richo who allowed these type of clauses, but it appears the Rabbitohs are also suckers.

I’ve never heard of a contract where the player can excersize his right to leave at the end of each season until it become apparent that was the clause in Luai’s contract.
Now I’ve heard it about it for a 2nd time with Payne Haas.

That wasn't in Luai's contract. It was after two years and plenty of players only sign contracts for two years.

Might be a good idea to lock Terrell down long term. Hes one id look at if im the Broncs. Id imagine them losing Haas will drive up the value of props coming off contract.
