Mainly, mostly. Indicating the most noticeable, influentual or numerous feature.

So he hasnt predominantly played prop has he? He has occasionally, and that was due to the old "make sure your best player gets the ball often" coaching. They couldn't leave him on one edge and risk him not getting the pill.

You made a mistake saying he has predominantly played prop, I have no idea why thats so hard for you to admit. I have already acknowledged he was poor last week, and I think he has guys really nipping at his heels for his depth spot. This is his last year on contract yes?

Someone else mentioned 950k year 1 then 800k the next few years. It’s not much of a thing tbh if we average the contract out. His value is probably around the 800k based on form guide/impact and what the young fullbacks are being signed up for these days - so isn’t breaking the bank.

Yeah but then factor in tax & investment structures managers put into place etc and for some the margin of what they actually get in hand doesn’t equate to much of a difference.

If true re front loading in this case it’s not much of a front loading anyway.
Someone mentioned 950k then 800k PA so isn’t terrible gap wise. The overall figure is the important part.

If you don’t have a 1 mil equivalent or someone who’s worth that , I can’t see you doing too much in the nrl . It’s my big reason why I think the dogs are massively overrated . As well I think Galvin atm is Hastings 2.0. Touches the ball a million times the team scores 16 points. Their defence will win them games , I’ve no doubt in that, I just don’t think when it comes September they will have the strike power to compete. Much like last year . Which is probably why they’re going hard for Bula .

If Lomax has one redeeming quality, it’s the fact that he’s upfront about being a selfish asshole. If you sign him and get burned, you have no right to complain about it. In some ways it beats 99% of players who talk absolute BS and you know it. And they know you know it. Here’s a good example of a player doing just that. It’s the EPL, but still. They are all one and the same. Spoiler, this dude left Sunderland a couple weeks later.

800/850 over 3 years about right IMO only
Lomax , if we did make a play for him and he came here he def would make us stronger , Wing , Centre , Fullback , actually as some one mentioned on here I think Lomax would be a gun fullback , can jump and take the ball well in the air , he is fast , he is very strong , he has power in his runs to bring the ball back and has plenty heart , offer him $ 850 and he is ahead of Bulla and straight to fullback , I think he also could be a lock , he has the build , strength , and can tackle

When you are comparing what players offer the idea isn't too far off the mark
Lomax is a representative player, has a 75% goal kicking % over the long term, is good under the high ball and is much more difficult to tackle on kick returns and can use his size and physicality to score tries at both club and representative level.
Bula has none of these attributes.
Would I pay Lomax $1m - NO, would I play Bula $1M - DEFINITELY NOT.
Would Lomax fit into the team no - do I care if Bula signs with the Dogs no.

Has Slomax ever played fullback in an NRL game ? Wouldn’t be many if he has …Fullbacks get paid more than wingers

Slomax is closer to $500k than a million I think… we still can’t afford him at that price , but people are going to keep dreaming

Lomax $ 850 x 3 years , let Bulla go , Lomax to Fullback would be solid , he has all the requirements , strong runner of the ball , very good in the air , pretty quick for speed , and he has power in his runs , more than bulla has

His previous coaches didn’t think Lomax was up to fullback …why do you ? Weren’t they preferring Sloane over him at the Dragons?
