I think from what I've seen of Godinet, there are a few second rowers in front of him at the moment. Was. not impressed in the trials. Looked small, but to coin a familiar phrase, "has potential" ------if he grows? Same could be said of the other bigger 2rf's. Needs time and a growth spurt IMO. Not a potential superstar ATM. But early days
I was told by a pretty good source that it’s a done deal.

Not everyone is going to come through at 18 like Makasini.
I said he'll be ready to replace Geyer next year who will start in NSW Cup, not that he was a potential superstar. By the time he's 21, I think he'll be a starting NRL forward somewhere. He's tall enough, and will bulk up in the next couple of years.
Ryan Matterson is seeking medical opinion after suffering a concussion in the preseason (via SMH)
Matterson previously missed multiple weeks (6 weeks in 2018, 4 in 2021, 4 in 2024) with ongoing concussion symptoms. Considering all of this puts some doubt on his playing future.

I might be wrong, but seems a bit dubious after all the efforts made by Parra to get him off their books and playing for someone else (no mention of concussion issues) 🤔
The Eels are a low club, I hope Lomax plays for Melbourne and scores 4 tries against them.

If they are gunna start giving medical exemptions to guys for concussions… expect every player on their way out to be applying for one …every guy playing the game at this level has been knocked out and had concussions

Mate I would like Godinet and Moors to play two or three games off the bench this year get a taste for NRL and another off this for there body's to grow and aim to play 8 to 10 games next year
I think Godinet could be a poor man's SBW or take off and be something very special
Also if they have amazing break out seasons this year we will need A Rooster size salary Cap to keep them no way we can have Big Mac break out and the two younger forwards break out in the same season
