I think Xerri has every reason to be unhappy. As a player yes. But I find it hard to cop him as a person, especially given his recent hissy fit. The Bulldogs gave him an opportunity after he was banned for several years for taking steroids, then he carries on like he’s too good to be dropped or play out of position. That doesn’t sound like the kind of character that helps build a club.
I think he could add value as a forwards coach.Would people want him here?
Xerri spent 4 years out of the game because he tested positive to illegal drugs.I think Xerri has every reason to be unhappy.
He played virtually all of last season at left centre and was regularly one of their best and most dangerous players.
Moved from his favoured left centre position right centre for no apparent reason, then reportedly told he was getting dropped to NSW Cup after one game in which they won and Xerri played well.
Then reports of a dust up it disagreement between he and Crichton at training.
Sounds very much like he is simply not in the clique and we know how that ended for Mahoney and Sexton last season.
Xerri is a very good representative standard centre who would help improve our team particularly with injury concerns for 2 of our centres, but it does sound like he wants to play left centre where we are more needing a right centre.
Maybe he should have went with the “I’m getting bullied “ approach?Xerri spent 4 years out of the game because he tested positive to illegal drugs.
The bulldogs gave him a second chance when no one else did.
He has been dropped to nsw cup for the first time since being at the dogs and hes thrown his toys out of the cot and is carrying on like a spoilt brat.
I dont know how anyone can empahtise with such a sook.
A professional athlete would dig in and try to fight their way back into the team, not cry like a baby and want out of the club.
Not the sort of guy id want in our squad.
Typical entitled Gen ZerXerri spent 4 years out of the game because he tested positive to illegal drugs.

Vicious was not asking opinions. Just making sweeping statements. If he wants your opinion, he'll give it to you.Xerri spent 4 years out of the game because he tested positive to illegal drugs.

Yeah, cant trust Gus at all. But I heard Xerri was incredibly lucky to be picked for the game in Vegas and that Tuala had been training the house down.Maybe he should have went with the “I’m getting bullied “ approach?
I for one take any statement from Gould as complete dribble, they did the same thing to Mahoney and Sexon last year to get them of their books.
Playing all last year and now getting dropped after 1 game this year sounds very fishy to me.
Only time will tell.
Long history of this dating back to Dean Pay who was treated horribly.Hes clearly being pushed out...Dogs are such a scummy club.
However spitting the dummy is a chidish response ...weak as pee attirude cant be condoned
They didn't do anything to Mahoney and Sexton to get them off their books. Their contract was up and they didn't offer another so they weren't on the books to get them off of them.Maybe he should have went with the “I’m getting bullied “ approach?

That’s funny,They didn't do anything to Mahoney and Sexton to get them off their books. Their contract was up and they didn't offer another so they weren't on the books to get them off of them.
I think this is likely reflective of available cap space
I just checked. Sexton did not Mahoney did. That’s funny,
I’m pretty sure they both had a contract at the Dogs for 2026.
👍I just checked. Sexton did not Mahoney did.
What are the Eels big names? Moses and? Maybe Paulo is on the back end of a big contract. No-one else I think would be commanding big money.Perhaps … it’s rumoured we have limited space … Parra seem to be paying some big names though ? Do we have a better more highly paid team ?
Would people want him here?
From memory he and Benji don't get on. Could be wrong, I'm sure I heard it somewhere though?
No he didnt. I was just reading back on it before my previous reply.👍
Sexton also had an players option to extend to end 2026 but chose not to take it up after they signed Galvin.
I do feel like there was reporting about it with Bateman going to Cowboys but an AI search can't find any dramas between the 2 so perhaps it was some BS I heard on a podcast or something.Im not sure, only thing I have heard os that Paytin offered Benji to call him anytime he needs advice when Benji started coaching
