Agree with you. Could be a good short-term solution for 2026.If he was say , off to the bears next season , and needed somewhere in the meantime … that would be an awesome outcome . As I think the Tautua brothers and Tavana will be real close to nrl by this time next year . Even guys like Attard , especially if Bula signs elsewhere and we extend him for the year .

I think off the back of three spoons, every player you sign probably has a ‘poor club tax’ on top. Who knows if the media reported salaries are accurate? You no doubt pay way overs to attract Luai’s, Api’s, Hunt’s, Turuva’s & May’s from top clubs. Young prospects like Fainus and Bula would have demand pushing up the price tag.what are they paying Pezet ? The story I heard was that the Lomax money went there …
My point is that we are linked to no body …rumours are we are broke, and I’m not sure where the money has gone ..
It was Gina Rhineart apparently… spewing that some footy players might make her daily income in a year tax free.. apparently pants down Pauline is onto it😂😂😂
Who would of thought that a miner would whinge
Tbf though , he is in KOE . Not sure the opportunities will present themselves at the dogs either . The big issue is all of a sudden we have extreme depth in the back row , he seemed to thrive there in flegg last year . Not sure why he’s back on the wing .Agree with you. Could be a good short-term solution for 2026.
Those suggesting a swap with To’a, not a snowflake’s chance in hell. To’a is held in high regard by Benji & in leadership group.
The only player that could be a win-win in a swap deal is Solo Saukuru. Unfortunately not getting a look in here despite his talents & his old man Joey works as a kind of conduit between the Silktails & the Dogs.
Pretty sure May prefers left even tho he was right side on saturdayThought he didn’t want to play on the right?

It makes sense to me that this roster wasn’t cheap. Just glad we could actually attract a lot of them.
My fear is we know Bula is going & this is a preemptive hit back.Looks like we got some money to go after Xerri after all …things might not be as tight on the cap as most of us thought

Agree mate. Api & Luai are with us now which means we should have a win now mentality, who knows when they will no longer be Wests Tigers. To be honest with you …I’m just worrying about this year first and breaking the finals drought ,… the club needs to be focused on that as a priority and be pulling out all stops
Correct, and we already have May and Maka who also are better suited on the leftThought he didn’t want to play on the right?
Rumours from where? I think we are just being selective and strategic in who we bring to the club.. Richo and Benji spent 2 years turning the roster around and people are starting to say that the results are starting to showwhat are they paying Pezet ? The story I heard was that the Lomax money went there …

He played right centre at the Sharks, there must be much more in it than just that.Xerri doesn’t make sense for us. He wants to play left centre which are covered by Maka and May.
We need right centre depth at a reasonable price.
No - too slow since he bulked up - maybe when he was a speedster at the Sharks but not now.Would people want him here?
He got a lump sum payment not part of the cap this yearWrong ..they are still contributing…even though he took a paycut

Rabbitohs half takes six-figure pay cut to stay rather than return to Tigers
Due to return to the Wests Tigers at the expiration of his loan deal at the end of the season, Bud Sullivan has taken a big pay cut to remain a Rabbitoh.www.smh.com.au
“ the deal was made possible after the Tigers agreed to pay part of his freight “
six months is the no training time. Takes another 12 months to rebuild the base to compete. Speaking from experience with my son who represented Australia as a junior runner. Spiral stress fracture in tibia followed by stress fracture in back. A wasted 4 years minimumYeh for runners bone stress injuries can take more than 6 months to recover (https://complete.clinic/2019/08/bone-stress-injuries-runners-beware/). Obviously it’s situational but starford isn’t exactly the poster boy for healthy nrl players
