It’s why they exist - without the supporting of local community organisations (like sporting teams etc.) clubs aren’t allowed to exist.

They’ve already proven to be mediocre at best at running the football team they were founded on - and they’re looking to buy another in a code none of them know anything about, in an area that’s totally foreign to them.
It’s nuts!!

Walsh and Mam are the type of players to open us up.. so only having one of them for this game is a blessing.. a bit like not playing penrith until round 14..

He always seems to be carrying niggles. Think he’d be ahead of LL if he was fully fit.

With LL leaving next year, Skelton should be picked ahead of him. But due to a poor performance against the bunny killers, he got dropped. Which is fair, then we won well with both new wingers playing well. You can’t drop them after that. But his time will come, but mind u he’s always been sus under the high ball and quite injury prone!

I thought Cook just extended ??Su’a will get plenty of offers and if Cook is flicked ESL would probably be his only offer. Although Perth might be interested for a season or two

As always it depends on cost, but if available we would have to at least enquire about Jaydn Su’a.
In a beaten team he’s been consistently in the Dragons top 3 players and although he’s played his entire career as an edge back rower, there is no reason why he would not add value as a starting 13.
Would we be a better team if someone like Su’a started the game for us at 13 with Twal starting at prop ? Su’a would not be a ball playing type of 13, but his aggressive running and defending would likely make our forwards pack more formidable and what a great back up to have in case one of our starting edge back rowers miss a game out injured.

I'd be interested in Tedesco back here for two years. Still a top shelf fullback.
If we have to pay Bula 800k then go the extra mile for Teddy at 1mill instead.
Adds a whole new dimension to our team. Leadership, defence, organisation, linking, attack...

Drinkwater would be a big upgrade as well

Signing Tedesco makes a lot of sense if we had a Bula waiting in the wings to be mentored.
Tedesco has clearly learned a lot playing for NSW and Australia. Yet it does seem his athleticism gets him through more then his skill. 1 year at 1m but only if we had a junior that would benefit from this.

Drinkwater doesn't seem to different to Bula. Getting a top quality fullback would be hard, but if we are going to play musical chairs I would rather a: Reece Walsh, Ponga, Turbo, etc.

RTS would be interesting, Keano kini, THe Hammer... They offer something.

The other alternative is to go a reliable like Kennedy or Tracey Conner. Save a stack of cap space and put that into other backs.

If Teddy comes here because Easts decides he is past it, we should offer unders.
