If Adam is second picked after Api, it's a problem because it suggests some behind the scenes arrangement where Adam stays in the halves no matter what. Of course, Luai is picked ahead of Douehi but, when Jarome becomes available, I really hope Madden stays at half, especially if he plays well against the Knights.

AD said post-match that he’s taken a back seat to Madden for the good of the team, allowing Jock to organise and get the team around the park. I tip my hat to him for the self-awareness and only hope he has the same attitude when Luai returns. AD is a very versatile player and fully fit he’ll have a big role to play, just likely not as a 7.

I think he’d recognise himself that his ball playing isn’t happening for him. He wants to run the footy and playing as a centre with a licence to roam would be a load off his shoulders.

I'd like to see Jock putting up high kicks between the post & the sideline, 5m out with Tino & Adam as chasers. Low/Mid risk - High reward. Adam would need to be centre or lock for that to become a WT "Double Warbrick" or Double Coates" 5th tackle special.

The little kicks into “no man’s land” for KPP and Samuela should also be inserted into the game plan.

I don’t necessarily agree. I mean it’s all speculation but he would have been well aware that L. Fainu is our long term halfback when he re-signed until end of 29’

We have time to work out what works - Thought he was ordinary on the Weekend,
But hard to drop him after the Warriors game.
