Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Wests Tigers Podcast mentioning briefly a rumour that Papenhauzen interested In coming back ? Anyone heard anything more from their mate at the pub or who works at the Bulldogs ?
I remember watching Papenhuyzen in the Balmain SG Ball team. Interesting how his career now appears to be over. His teammates, Doueihi and Seyfarth, are performing well and Doueihi played 7 in that team. Suli from the Dragons also has his moment but hasn't realised his full potential.

Suli hasn't realised his potential cause his a lazy player

My only worry is for the fans believing the players will stick with West's. Put yourself in their position. Would you stick with your current employer or take that big pay rise by the next employer for your family?

Lol they have their heads in the sand. Theres potential here for us to lose 5 or more players.
The appeal of the compound is alot more appealing if you go with your mates.
I reckon Turuva will be another.

The PNG Chiefs have their man.
This masthead understands that Wests Tigers captain Jarome Luai has agreed to join the Chiefs in 2028 in a major coup for the fledgling franchise as they look to hit the ground running in their inaugural season.

The NSW and Samoan international will spend next season at the Tigers after talking up a one-year option in his existing contract. He will then become the face of the Chiefs as they begin their quest to win a premiership.

This masthead understands that Luai informed the Tigers of his plans on Tuesday afternoon and the club is expected to hold a press conference on Wednesday morning to address what is a landmark day for not just PNG, but also the Tigers.

Luai has been one of the driving forces behind their revival over the last two years under the coaching of Benji Marshall.

The Tigers would have loved him to stay but they also understand the magnitude of his decision given he will earn significantly more money with his move to PNG, where the government has made rugby league players tax exempt.

As long as Luai remains on the same salary he has at the Tigers - about $1.2 million a season - he will walk away with an extra $1 million in the hand over he course of 2028 and 2029.

The money alone made the Chiefs’ offer too good to refuse. However, Luai will also be given the opportunity to become the face of the franchise in PNG.

I like it!

Great news. We are talking diplomat material here.

After football he will taking on China and the US. Big position in PNG.

Happy for the guy. Good for West's Tigers and Penrith.

We have a brother in the bigger circles of life.

Only good news

Thank you Jarome.

Don't forget your fans who have to go to work on Monday. It's a lonely place Jarome. Especially when that Monday morning is dark still.

But I don't blame you if you forget us.

Its the human condition.

Every man for himself. Our Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon card.

More to come?????

Let me fill you in now.....

He deserves everything he gets.....
