Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The big problem is... It would be another Experiment.

We experiment so much as a team.
Moving Reynolds to hooker, fail.
Moving AD around to almost every position on the field.
Getting that Center G? from England that did absolutely nothing at all.
Bateman -> Experiment with an aging 5/8-Lock expecting him to be as dynamic as he was at Canberra.

I am sure the Forum can suggest more.

Unless he comes dirt cheap, and he wont. I don't want another experiment.
These experiments take up a stack of cap space and we need cap space!
There’s your answer.

It’s a pass from Tito.

Train and Trial contract only.

Don’t be surprised to see Martin, Yeo and Cleary all go up there in 28. What more is there to achieve at the Panthers? They could easily have another premiership by the end of 27. They could link up with their boy and suddenly the band is back together. To’o might go as well.
I know its tax free dollars but they do have a salary cap.

Breakaway is a union specific position. Doubt he would have any benefit in league when is key point of difference is pilfering at the ruck in rugby.

Pass for me.
Mate, as a former breakaway I can say that the most natural footballers in Union are the breakaways! (Insert smiling emoji here)! Can play anywhere. I would think that lock or depending on his size - I haven't seen him - edge back row would be perfect.

The Wests Tigers have secured two of their promising juniors for the long-term, with brothers Lorima and Jerome Cosgrave extending their stays at the club.

Lorima Cosgrave, a talented hooker, has signed a new two-year deal, which includes an option for NRL training in the second year.

Meanwhile, his brother Jerome Cosgrave, a middle/back-row forward, has inked a three-year extension, with NRL training opportunities locked in for 2028 and 2029.

Sounds like Godinet is another happy camper 😂
You are never going to please every player and you can’t keep them all but, Cooper Clarke was a large body who was willing to run the ball hard and had a decent engine for someone who clearly needed to drop a few kilos.
I always thought he was a keeper and the club made a mistake in not prioritising him ahead of a few others
Godinet had a very good game in Jersey Flegg yesterday, a game which indicated he is now heading in the right direction, so it would be nice to keep him happy and keep him with us.
