** Try and sign a mid season recruit ASAP.
- Highly unlikely the Dolphins would let Averillo go, but he won’t be in their full strength top 17, so it could be worth trying.
- Similar story with Izaac Tago, very unlikely the Panthers will let him go, but it could help them keep some others long term, so worth an enquiry
- Sione Finau - young, tall, strong, fast and athletic. We don’t have enough backs that fit that description and he’s not getting any NRL opportunities at the Raiders, I think he would be gettable.
- James Schiller - he is also young, tall, strong, fast and athletic. He is rarely getting an NRL opportunity at the Knights and being a specialist right sided centre or winger he fits the description of what we are currently lacking.

PVL has little man syndrome and is hellbent on proving that NRL is bigger than AFL. He wants to get it to 20 teams which is the scary thing. Perth can’t even field a 19 man team yet.

We don’t have too many diamonds in our current squad of outside backs.
A good coach can help a player produce more diamonds and not so many rocks.

Maybe the club should be going all in on Brookes as a winger for now. Could play himself into a top 30 if form continues in Cup. Could be a good min wage replacement for the likes of Will Craig.

Yep it's hard to cop that. We seem to always be the club they use to make out they are enforcing a tough stance for what seems overlooked in other instances

I reckon we will see the 30 squad requirements reduced to 25 to thin playing ranks out more. There is still the reserve grade squad to provide back up just maybe the concentration of talent gets spread out more.

Our winger jumps up and contests a ball with the opposition winger making contact with him and when he lands falls akwardly on his ankle and cops a suspension and send off for something thats only a penalty at best. N.R.L under Vlandys and Abdo has become a micky mouse competition. Sooner theyre gone the better. Turning a contact sport into the ballet for the t.v cameras. Now this stupid 6 again rule is turning it in to touch football.
