Preston, Burton and Kikau are easily in the top 5 Dogs best players and are massive outs. Particularly when they are struggling to score points already

If he is permitted to return for next season, he won't be on any higher than a NSW Cup contract. He will be playing a lot of Ron Massey Cup to start with and will have to earn a spot in NSW Cup through performance, attitude & fitness. I think his management would understand that and this would be a reasonable starting point.

manly has lost some of its hate factor compared to what it had in the 80's (apart from the old Magpies fans understandably, same as the old balmain fans with hatred of souths)
i can remember the old shirts in the 80's i support (insert team) and whoever is playing manly.
Possibly the second best GF i have ever been to is 97 arl when newcastle.beat manly, crowd went nuts.
Melbourne and Brisbane (from super league days) have taken over that mantle of most hated.
The manly of today play some damn good footy to watch, good luck to them hope they go well

Manly let Api leave because they were so sure that Manase was "the one".
So was everyone in the nrl . He was light years ahead of anyone 2 or 3 years either side of hiis age . Manase is one of the biggest stories we’ve ever had of a player destroying his life compared to what should have been.

Burton played a more dominant role against the storm in attack, it was probably one of the quietest games i have seen Galvin play, he had a few try assists, however it was all off the back of Burton and Xerri. I think those 2 were out to prove a point and it will be interesting to see if they are as motivated this week, hopefully not. I think Burton out of training for a week will be beneficial to us as its likely the game plan will revolve more around Galvin again.

Manase was a special player, however that was 6 years ago...I don't mind if we give him a train and trial if he has decided to stay on the straight and narrow and rebuild his life. My only concern is I'm pretty sure he has never admitted guilt ( i could be wrong) and for me that's the first step in rehabilitation, otherwise you are always carrying a chip on your shoulder. I just hope if it does not work out for him in the NRL he doesn't blow up his brothers careers as well.

I'm not suggesting tigers sign him, why would you sign someone that hasn't laced a boot on in 6 or more years. Gotta be better value for money out there.
