Who.may that be?
He’s independently managed I believe, and when he wasn’t it was Moses (per Google ai)Who.may that be?
here's the definition of storm in a tea cupWhat ? The Manly thing was massive and derailed their season!
I don’t recall at ithe time it being a “Storm in a teacup” with the Folau incident.. He hasn’t had a platform since …are we gunna give him one now …
here's the definition of storm in a tea cup
"storm in a teacup" means thata lot of unnecessary anger, worry, or fuss is being made about a matter that is ultimately trivial or unimportant. It describes a situation where a minor issue is exaggerated and blown completely out of proportion.
In my view, it was blown out of proportion at the height of woke. I didn't understand what all the fuss was about.
You are conflating 2 issues with Manly - Folau was cancelled. The Manly players weren't. That's the difference.
Not sure what platform you think he is going to have - you think he's waiting to sign a train and trial to write bible passages that mention alcoholics and homosexuals? Personally, I think it won't see the light of day and you're too invested in the nonsense that was created at the time.
He will get 3 or 4 games to plug a hole when needed - we don't need to create any hysteria around it.
He played Japanese rugby few weeks back and scored. Let him have a crack at RMC, enjoy the rugby fans larping being tigers fans and enjoy the cash injection into the club37 years old and hasn't played rugby league for 16 years.
Laughable. Embarrassing.
Meme club.
out of the game for so longI just heard on 2GB that Israel Falau is being shopped to the Tigers on a train and trial deal ?
Relax man - maybe you misread my point about Manly. You were the one that compared it to Manly in the first place by downplaying that incident (“ that seemed to be ok” ) in comparison to Folau … that wasn’t the case at all, both on and off the field …That was what I was saying there …
I love it how you make the prior incident about me .…I don’t care what he does… but I am concerned around potential ramifications for a club for not much potential benefit …
Relax man - maybe you misread my point about Manly.
You said "Didn’t they run him out of his town during his last job for “speaking up?”
This is about Folau being cancelled no? That's how I read it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It is the reason I made a direct comparison with Manly players, yet they were not cancelled. All are still playing in the NRL. Hence, why I said "that seemed to be ok" in contrast to Folau getting punted out of the game.
I never said nobody got upset or it wasn't made out to be a big deal. I said that it was overblown in my opinion (storm in a teacup).
If your point was that it was a big drama at the time, then I am not disagreeing with you. Hope that clears things up.
I know its fun sticking the boot into the club this week, but isn't the story about Folau's manager reaching out to the Tigers, rather than the Tigers chasing Folau?
Cant see that being reported anywhere. Who really cares if he gets a train and trial and bounces between Cup and RMC for the year?Someone saying he is getting a medical at the club ?

Regardless, its not like the Tigers are begging him to come. We have enough to be embarrassed at the moment, we don't need to be making things up.
Good to see ya back, CBWhat's Gary Freeman & Sirro up to at the minute? In desperate need of a half and second rower.
Yes we can agree. We might agree that his opinions are “trivial”, but unfortunately in this society that doesn’t stop opinions like this when expressed publicly by famous people from turning into bigger problems…the groups he spoke about are extremely political as I’m sure you know as well as I do …I just don’t see the juice as being worth the squeeze …
Someone saying he is getting a medical at the club ?
To troll and confuse you about his perspective probably. Seems like he succeeded? What on earth would Israel Folau want to achieve by trialling for any NRL side after all this time ? I don't get it ...from his perspective.
