But I don’t think we will hear turns like “Cronin around the corner pass to Ella “ or “ Meninga to Close on the burst”
Centre to Centre passing is a thing of the past UNFORTUNATELY

I have left Shawn Blore out because I rate our 2 edge forwards (Sam,KPP)better than him.
if we did go for him I think we would have to change him into another Sione/ Pole type middle to get him on the field.
Unfortunately there is a salary cap otherwise putting a decent squad together would be quite easy 😂

We need depth in that backrow spot, but you're right. The current 1st liners are already very good and we can't be doubling up on top line salaries for that position.

We probably need 2 very versatile players that can play centres, lock and backrow. Tallis Duncan, Capewell, Aubusson types on 400k ish each.

A lot of good halves on that list.

I'd take Humphries only because of his versatility and defence.

Kodi for Jock would be a good exchange though. Kodi offers more in attack.

I kind of assume spare funds to sign new players for 2027 will be limited and there are bigger needs … we are now back to needing that experienced aggressive middle again…need a depth back rower as well

Re-signing
One of Skelton or Saukuru on minimum
Mason on minimum

Upgrading Lanyon for Hope on minimum..

Signing:
Blore for the Geyar/Sukkar wage
Averillo and looking to move on Starford To'a. If Averillo falls through going hard for Will Penisini.
Hetherington and looking to move Royce Hunt on

Incomings will depend on outgoings im guessing.

Someone I know who is connected to the club reckons we might be signing Will Penisini.
My immediate reaction was I doubt it when he is managed by Isaac Moses.
Although he is not blessed for speed like Jake Averillo, Will Penisini is very strong and aggressive and a top class right centre when he is not injured.
Both of them are injured at the moment, maybe we need to sign both and hope one of them is fit to play each week.

How good would that be Alex is a weapon that should've never been let go. He has been in sublime form in NSW Cup and Flegg for the Dogs. It would be great for the Clarke brothers too to head back
