I can barely recruit myself out of bed some mornings.

Buy back the farm.
It would be great tj have all our best juniors back, the Large brothers too, although I think Javon Andrews is a much better 5/8 prospect than Onitoni Large.
I still think Onitoni is a fullback, but we many never know as he doesn’t seem to want to play there.

I often wonder what the players would think if they read these discussions.

Then I remember they probably have better things to do.

As much as I love Leichhardt I’m not sure this is a good thing, I believe part of why the players get right up for it and the fans pack it and are vocal is because we only play there a few times, I’m not certain we would get 18k there every week, as well there’s always next week. Thoughts?

If Wests Tigers played top 4 footy consistently you'd get 20k every week anywhere.

I agree. He is nowhere near better than Averillo & anyone on here suggesting he is, clearly haven’t watched either play this year.

Someone I know who is connected to the club reckons we might be signing Will Penisini.
My immediate reaction was I doubt it when he is managed by Isaac Moses.
Although he is not blessed for speed like Jake Averillo, Will Penisini is very strong and aggressive and a top class right centre when he is not injured.
Both of them are injured at the moment, maybe we need to sign both and hope one of them is fit to play each week.

Look, Penisini isn't in good form and hasn't been for ages.

We need to upgrade Herbert and Starford. Were looking for a bankable center and even if Averillo comes here as a Center instead of a 5/8, I could see Averillo/Penisini replacing Herbert/Starford.

I can see him turning into a Koula type player if he wants to play outside backs.

Spencer isn't 800k now. Yet we need to be talking about upgrading our side.

Spencer would be an upgrade on Hunt, Seyfarth and many of our impact props.
Penisini would be an upgrade on Herbert/Starford... No, not better the Averillo but an upgrade on what we have.

Odd theory: Cooper Clarke did not fit Marshall's fast mobile pack idea. I think the club stuffed up, however it may be that Marshall is building a faster pack. If that is the case we won't go for Spencer Leniu although he would be an upgrade on Hunt/Seyfarth... How you balance that cap? You use Luai money (other then that I am out of ideas).

We need to upgrade our squad and get rid of our fringe.

I wonder if benji is really trying to bring in a backrower, doesn’t need to be a gun , just a solid player who has a high tackle rate , if he isn’t, I don’t think we can make the 8 , Losing are two backrowers has killed our chances

I think thats why they tapped star and hunt on the shoulder as i believe they are on good coin, hunt is def on way overs for his role
