Like I’ve been saying, I cannot fault the 💯 commitment and effort Turuva always brings, so I have no issue with him being in our starting 13, but I’m looking at it as a value for money type scenario.
If the whispers are correct, we seem to be very tight for Salary Cap space so every dollar we can potentially save becomes valuable to allow us to fund an all round better roster with better depth.
In saying this we do not appear to have much dead wood left in 2027, so we have an opportunity to be better placed than we have for many years if we are smart with our recruitment and retention for 2027.

The guy is safe as houses. Makes his yards and when he is going at the line, he's an elite finisher. You can't cheap out everywhere. Wing is an important position these days.

I really hope we don’t get De Courcey or Cotric. We have players right now in Cup better than both. The whole Folau thing & now Cotric & De Coucey really is testing my ability to believe Benji should be in charge of recruitment. I love Benji & the players he has brought in have been great but he is testing my love. Cotric is struggling to hold his own in Super League & I don’t care how much so called potential De Courcey has we have guys in Cup right now with the same amount of potential. All this talk of “it’s just for depth”, if we have injuries again next year these guys will become starters. No thanks. Come on Benji keep looking bud please don’t stop the search here

Would be a good get on a development contract.

If I recall correctly he had star written all over him and then dropped right off and was never quite the same after that stint at the Dogs, but would be worth a punt on a lowish contract if he was willing to take it.

Was hoping this type of backup may be Jeral Skelton but he seems to be pigeon holed as just a winger with us even though he did play some centre at Bulldogs Cup.

would like Arthurs although Tass would be a interesting player but injuries have curtailed him.

Cotic is a meat and potatoes player just like Skelton unless he has develop his game.

The Titans offer to Arthurs was 600K a season he didn't accept it the Titans waited then withdrew the offer after the deadline passed looks like he's off to the UK now
