Schuster is an amazing signing. Maybe the biggest risk v reward signing ever. Zero risk v rep potential.
Undeniable talent, just needs to be mentally healthy and must have the right coach.
Benji is a leader, a communicator and role model - perfect for Schuster.
Quality guy who had some mental struggles, like many of us have had, has worked on himself and deserves a chance.

Hopefully Benji has said we will put you in the back row and illustrate run and tackle hard. The ball playing will just come from that.

Comes in and has a real crack in cup...
Earns a first grade contract.
Becomes an elite 13 for us.... what we wanted Jacko to be.

I don’t see the issue with Schuster. Even if it doesn’t work out, it’s a NSW Cup contract. Who cares. There’s no downside.
If fit he could be an amazing second rower or ball playing lock
Schuster has enormous talent. If he puts it together he’ll be a superb acquisition. Still only 25.
Cup contract means we have nothing to lose everything to gain

No cash signing...all upside. 50 games under his belt...would be surprised if he saw first grade any time soon.
I imagine if he was happy taking a NSW Cup Contract then I would imagine he is just keen on playing some footy again

Nothing would surprise with Benji. If he's going well in Reggies that little taste of firsts late in the year might be just what he needs for the off season to really get at it.
