Not from another NRL team, players out of the game can be signed at any time though I believe (Joey Manu🥴).

We obviously don’t want even the small amount we are paying Tupou to be on the cap so here’s 2 reasons I can think of

1) someone else is coming
2) Our cap is shot as it is

Freeing up money to top up existing contracts (Fainus)

Makasini should not be playing first grade right now. We're doing hima huge disservice to be playing him at a level he's not yet ready for. And the only reason he's playing NRL is because our recruitment is so terrible we literally have no one else to play there

This would be ideal imo. The type of big grunt prop we need to support Terrell whilst we have Luai next season, and gives us a little extra time to determine our prop requirements for 2028 and how Pole, Sione, Taupau-Moors, Duncombe & Aho develop.

To be fair that wasn’t the case on Sunday and it’s been largely injuries that have caused this situation.

Junior Tupou was okay with us. He’s been at two other clubs with pretty hot backlines.

3. Tupou
4. Herbert
5. Saukuru

.... I'd call that depth. Every one of those guys is able to step in as required.

Toa has had good games for us, when he's not injured but that's the problem, he's mostly in the stands or worse underperforming on field with some niggle.

Foran's doesn't have the hand of god, can't see how his fragile body will all of a sudden become sound just because he's going to manly.
