The worst thing he did for himself was leaving here. Had he stayed he’d have been a regular first grader. But he decided to leave and has played 4 games in a season and a half.

I suppose the 500k a year helps ease the pain but yeah career wise he’s stalled.

even before the injury a few months ago he was told he wouldnt be re-signed 2028 they were going with Walsh.

Not from another NRL team, players out of the game can be signed at any time though I believe (Joey Manu🥴).

We obviously don’t want even the small amount we are paying Tupou to be on the cap so here’s 2 reasons I can think of

1) someone else is coming
2) Our cap is shot as it is

Last I heard Wests Tigers were one of only two or three clubs that had underspent their cap & had some room left, though I don't know if recent upgrades have erroded into that pool of money down to change.

I saw Taylan May and Bula get outrun by Young/Ponga.. But I saw them get outrun.

I really struggled to see To'a impact vs newcastle.

Yes Toa scored against the Fins, but we still lost that game.


I doubt it's cap pressures forcing Toa out. If Benji/WT wanted to keep him they could.
It's that there is better players on the market.

Hopefully we are going to see upgrades. Averillo is a start.
