So Ivan making the point that although are halves are far from perfect and both were very poor last night, our main issues are not within our halves.
What halves including Nathan Cleary can get a team scoring points when they have no attacking weapons and no speed out wide?

Te Maire is playing unbelievable and craps all over AD as a 7. Not as a player, but as a 7. He is pure class

Yet Haywood came on and with his service from dummy half and made pole look like a superstar.

Cleary is a general and barks orders. He has the ability to make average players look good. He helps them develop.

Because of the threats he has on their edges and speed out wide in the Warriors team, he can afford to play a very simple role and does not have to do anything fancy or take any risks.
Our halves don’t have that same luxury.

Haywood played great, no surprise to any Wests Tigers fan was it?
Pole was always running into the ball at speed and with great intent.

Anyone know why we’ve announced Luai is released?

Have we already agreed with a club how much we will chip in?

We wouldn’t be silly enough to give up our negotiating position if his preferred club is only willing to chip in $300-400k? We wouldn’t would we?

What are your thoughts and everyone elses thoughts, do we offload Jock and either sign the experienced Kodi Nikorima or the emerging Ronald Volkman to be a 3 way contest for our NRL halves with Javon Andrews still developing?
It would be good to keep Jock around to mainly be used to guide and develop our NSW Cup players, but I doubt he would be happy or motivated tj do that and we could put his 200-250k wage towards signing either Nikorima or Volkman who I guess would be gettable for under 500k?

Out of all the fullbacks, who is Bula better than currently?

I would argue only Tuipiki, Tracey, Gutherson and Iongi.

Close calls are Weekes, Gray and Kennedy. Even dolphins backup fullback in Fuller provides more.

Bula is at the point of his career he needs to be producing more. I get he's carrying injury but even when he isn’t, he is not a creator. Time for excuses are over.

Yes but it would take more than a good or great player to help our 1-5 and right edge from last night into a formidable NRL attacking unit.
I think Heamasi will almost certainly become a quality NRL player and he will only be better next year, but surely you agree his defence is far too suspect to be an NRL centre anytime soon, so he will be best on the wing for at least another season before he becomes a genuine quality NRL centre option?
I’m a fan of Skelton, but he cannot have been trying last night? I’ve never seen his yardage hit ups so soft and he added nothing.
Turuva is just Turuva, I love his fearless yardage carries, but if we are being honest that is all he has. Why does he not contest attacking going balls? I know he is short, but he has a decent meal when he puts effort into it.
We all know Sione is not an edge player and will hopefully not be used there at all in 2027. When in the middle Sione is close to our hardest hitting defender.

I'm 99% sure his shoulder is gone and needs surgery.

Depends which area of the game we are talking.

He is the best fullback in the comp when it comes to contesting attacking bombs on the last tackle.

No mate, no.. madden cannot tackle and panics in space,, douhei thinks defence is optional and refuses to pass too often .. this madden crap is ridiculous, he is a back up half but so far in his career has been unable to be consistent in nrl competition
