Ben Gardiner is very astute , he would be a great asset for mine 👍Please no on Gardener. This club is no place for a rookie coach. Sadly, it’s the best we can do.

At the start of the year I thought his brother was the stand out but Mitch seems to have come right on while max is languishing at the momentWe have a similar player Mitch Taotua in our ranks. Has scored 2 powerful tries in Flegg today to get us back into the game at HT.
Taotua has all the tools. IMO has catapulted to our best talent outside of those on Top 30 and Dev deals. We MUST progress this kid if we are fair dinkum.
Maybe we should try and get him in as an assistant in the first instance as a safety net if Benji is moved on😍😍😍
Take Gardner in a heartbeat.
Lestronge, Rather then you putting shit on these 4 players and Isolate them, why don’t you look at all the errors that other more senior and non senior players have had over the last 10 weeks and call them out. Some of the players that single Handley lost us the games with missed tackles, drop ball and poor errors causing us penalties where we needed to work extra hard in defence are still being called up to play each week.
if the Tigers lose against Canberra this week and these 4 players are not playing, what is your stance then?
The reason why they are doing well in cup is because it is obvious that the coach makes them play as a team and does not accept players giving individual performances. He will not put up with that shit. That’s why they play well and in many instances obtain the right results.
If the coach had his way and they let him pick his team each week rather then chop and change, they would win the reserve grade comp.
In our NRL team we have individuals who play for themself and some are just point stacking rather then doing what’s best for the actual team.
You can easily identify the NRL games where team cohesion was present and they played for each other. We either won the game or lost marginally but the effort and team work was there.
I think your choice of word’s abomination are way below the belt. These players in any other club would thrive because they would have the right support structure around them and the right coaching.
Looks like Saukuru may also fall into your category of abomination but he keeps yielding the right results in cup and is our best try scorer because THE TEAM uses the backline as they should to put points on the board. The ball does not get held up mid play causing the attack line to choke.
If Saukuru was given the chance to debut and the team keeps playing the way they are playing he would likely never see the ball unless running from our try line to gain yardage.
Just for your info, clubs like Manly have a one on one coach and player review each week where the coach identifies the good things the player did in the game and areas that need improvement with a plan on what to work on for next game. Goals and targets are set for the following week then recalibration occurs.
They also have a game plan and strategy each week. I find it hard to see any of this in our team but it might be there and the players are not responding hence the results.
Looking forward to watch the Viking clap this week!
You are completely spot on. I don’t see senior players being held to account for their long list of errors every week or their point stacking. These young guys play their guts out, don’t get the ball passed to them to show their skill because we have a “team” of solo hogs, and they have higher tackle efficiency every game than the seniors. But instead of rewarding them for their consistency Benji clearly blames them, drops them and keeps the guys making the errors that cost us the game.Lestronge, Rather then you putting shit on these 4 players and Isolate them, why don’t you look at all the errors that other more senior and non senior players have had over the last 10 weeks and call them out. There is no strategy or game plan. My 6 year old kid has worked out the Tigers plan ..:it’s the same every game. We don’t play to the opposition weakness. Frankly the coaches are not coaching. They are trainers teaching them to run up and down.
if he is there by round 8 next year i'll reveal my biggest source and by you a jerseyMate you get a lot of thing right, but no way Benji is going anywhere soon..
