Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

It’s a way of causing disharmony throughout the club. It’s another sensitive personal matter to put pressure on the club and coach.

However if true it does annoy me. Maybe it’s rife through the NRL but professional athletes need to do everything possible to be at their best. Just another reason why we struggle to compete.
I remember a while back smoking shisha (?) was big with the footy guys.
Be all over social media - I’m like, how is sucking anything outside of steam or oxygen into your lungs ok at any level for such a high work rate athlete.
I couldn’t believe more wasn’t made of it then, I’ve seen some of our guys vaping on socials and have just accepted it seems to be the norm?

Yeah - I hope if we do change coach, we don't burn Benji in the process. I think he's good for the club and he could even be really good in the recruitment/scouting area with Gallant or another club figurehead.
Made this call when he was first back coaching some halves - recruitment and talent development is where he should have started. I’ll say it now the exact way I said it then.
Imagine being a 15yr old sitting in your lounge room with your 40 odd yr old parents being told Benji Marshall wants you at his football club.
His gravitas spans generations…

Nek minnutt - he’s the fn head coach and here we are!!

No chance the club can ban it as it sounds like all the boys are addicted, and it’s extremely difficult to quit. But I’m with you disposables vapes are [This word has been automatically removed]ed for your health and I assume would be negatively impacting their performance
Of course you can ban it. Having a no smoking policy at the club should have been part of the code of conduct for a long long time now. This isn't the 60s....

Then you add in the illegality of it, can't have players breaking the law so blatantly.

Players cannot smoke anything. Cigarettes, cigars, vapes, shisha/nargile. Nothing. A fine and warning for the first offence. Dismissal to follow if they keep going.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if AD still remains at the club and this blows over. And if it does who holds these reporters to account for their rubbish journalism and the chaos they cause with this shit. Blokes like The Mole and Dean Ritchie want a tonne of clicks through their weekend posts and reports and they know us WT fans are highly reactive and get too emotional when every man of their dog is slinging shit at our club.

Lets face facts this all started with Luai leaving for the Chiefs and its been all down hill from there, we support our team no matter what and will do forever in time, we need to draw a line in the sand and demand our club from a management point of view handle these types of things better and get on the front foot, they've let click baiters dictate the narrative and if its anything less than AD leaving our club for good these f!?!?!'ers have a lot to answer if for if everything gets sorted out.
Maybe the Journos were right and the club are just to gutless to make the call to send Adam packing. Just because Adam stays doent nessisarily mean he did nothing wrong. Benji in the presser said it happened that Adam didnt want to play.

Aren't vapes illegal anyway?

Half of this is mitigating the media damage.

What has more longevity in the media? Doueihi in reserves each week or pretending it's all resolved with him in the team and letting him go at seasons end?

Believe me, he's gone.

This x100. The fact that this has to be even debated or considered says it all about the club and certain players.

If we do end up with Flanagan im prepared to give him benefit of the doubt, despite the Sharks peptide event/s. Not ideal but very few experienced coaches out there to work with Benji.
He got the dragons to put on a lot of size as well so hopefully he gets our lads in the gym as we have lacked size and aggression for ages

So Flanagan says he is open to a coaching gig, that’s Flanagan saying it not the Tigers saying it, after it was reported Tigers will look to add some experience in the coaching staff & you all have us signing him. Geez gullible much. I know this weeks lotto numbers any of you keen to know what they are just let me know & for a small fee I can let you know.
