Sam has so much leverage in this negotation its not funny.

We basically came out and said that we are letting Luai go to resign him. His manager would not be dumb and sign right away. He can easily get the same offer elsewhere like Perth, so why not wait a bit to drive the price up even more.

Surely the club could pay for a corrective services 'minder' for game day and warm up, if the court would agree to it. I don't know but I felt that designing an effective parole would include family support and the promise of a supportive workplace as best way to help someone not reoffend. And Manase would know if he does anything to imperil his parole he would be back in gaol, which is a powerful incentive.

The ankle bracelet was only if he was allowed to play a grade comp this season. Nothing to do with next season...🙄
