I thought similar when “the march” was on. Why are you walking towards them? Would it not be better to walk the other way? At least don’t buy a beer there.
It’d be tough on some of the die hard travellers but I reckon you have not a single Tigers fan at a game and you might get a club reaction but the NRL will be rubbing their hands together, and smiling at the chance of us going broke and getting punted.

Talau average OK footballer - didn't cement a position at Tigers or Manly, and is not a first-choice at Roosters.

But you can't reflect on his stats tonight, it was an absolute shellacking, even my Grandma would have posted good stats against Cowboys tonight.

Actually I found it slightly embarrassing for Talau that he only jagged 1 try, where as Marky-Mark bagged 3, as did the halfback.

Both are origin players though where Talau was a reserve grader who was a weak link most times we played him. Similar to Junior Pauga.

The point is you put them in a professional environment and their weaknesses are not exposed.

Compare that with when we roll out Tristan Hope, Geyer, or Tavana their weaknesses stand out like a sore thumb.

You want to get to a point where you can debut a bloke or give a journeyman a crack in a strong squad. Constantly bringing a number of these guys into weak line ups does little for their future. The top sides have this down pat.

Foketi is good but still a long way to go. A few 1%ers had impact on things.

One thing I noticed in last nights game is that Roosters have high Footy IQ. Simple things like when Foketi was scoring his try, two of the other players are directing him under the posts for an easier conversion. There were plenty of other examples thats just the one that comes to mind.

That’s professionalism. Something we have never had. Foketi is young and raw but when’s the last time we’ve had a forward junior come through? Simon Dwyer? lol we can’t produce them.

High footy IQ...there was an instance where cowboy's put a kick into the chooks ingoal...wwalker raced back to regather, stopped short of the tryline ,....hit the deck so he couldnt be pushed back, reached into the ingoal, grabbed the ball and.pulled it back to him so he wasnt tackled in goal

Just too clever and skilful

Samuela shits all over Foketi to be fair. Not that we produced him, but he is ours lol.

Common sense/footy iq... can call it whatever you want 🙂...
But there is a lack of it across the NRL - especially the Wests Tigers.
The shift happened when the players stopped being penalised for dumb things e.g. taking a 20m tap when there was a player infront of them (it used to result in a penalty).
