Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Tigers utility facing clouded future

Heath Mason’s future at the Wests Tigers is up in the air with the versatile utility off contract for next season.

The former Australian Schoolboys five-eighth has looked promising when given the chance at NRL level but his ability to play anywhere in the backline is counting against him - he can’t secure a regular start in any one position.

But that ability to fill several holes has attracted some interest from rival clubs both in Australia and overseas.

The joint venture hasn’t said no to the local junior who is something of a fan favourite, but the closer we get to November 1, the more chance he will be playing elsewhere next season.
Fan Favourite ????

They're smart though, they don't announce post playing career moves before the players finish up unlike some Keystone Cops operations in the NRL.
They don't need to say anything, the players and managers would see it happening.

Nick P & Bouris have the perfect avenue for post-career employment with both car sales and financial advisory.

We finally had someone of that ilk on our board, Charlie, and then decided to blow it up.....

Former Wests Tiger John Bateman is off back to the Old Dart at season's end:

"John Bateman’s time in the NRL will officially come to a close at season’s end after the North Queensland Cowboys forward decided to ink a two-year contract with the Bradford Bulls."

Cowboys thank Bradford from the bottom of their hearts.
What a dud this blokes been no matter where he goes

He’d be best off trying to get a contract with the Bears.

How the hell JWH gets a gig at Foxtel is crazy...adds nothing to the discussions.

Yeah for some reason Pascoe felt the need to when we announced that Farah was getting a post-career ambassador role at the club and then sat out 6 months for his trouble.

Only we would say the quiet part out loud.

Hearing word Nathan Brown is leaving his role as an assistant at Parra.
Could be a solid replacement for John Morris
Former Head coach is definitely the move for getting an assistant.
The assistant coaches are my last excuse at the moment

Even if he is shit, he can still slap the players about when they aren't performing.

The assholes will change the colour of their jersey to black and white and lead the team into decades of despair lol

Sorry if this has been raised before, but wasn't our CEO the boss of the Central Coast Mariners? Has he been moonlighting?
