Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Yes so true! Penrith are always having to shed players each year to make sure their cap is sustainable yet the Roosters in particular seem to go on their merry way without any cap issues.

They already have a star studded team made up of NSW & QLD origin players and now they’re favourites to sign Farnworth if he doesn’t re-sign with the Dolphins! Like fmd how many more elite players are they allowed to have! They can’t all be playing on low salaries and for the love of the club only.
Roosters have shed plenty of big names the last few years, possibly more than Panthers.

After this season Nawaqanitawase, Crichton, Watson leave. They've only added Garrick. Should have heaps of cap space depending how much they've spent upgrading others.
Rep players that have left the Roosters the last 3 years include; Smith, Manu, Keary, Waerea-Hargreaves, Sua'ali'i, Tupouniua, Young. Lost a few other lesser players also.

How would people feel about Trent Barrett as an assistant?
Just when you think you have hit Bottom in rolls Barrett

Suppose someone has to start putting out the witches hats again no one more qualified then Barrett I think he could come up with some nice Patten's I Always wanted a figure 8 layed out just to see what the boys would do it could still happen

Yeah he is but I think the Storm will start putting staff in place next year. Marc might want to stay but he could possibly decide to call time on his Storm stint. Cooper Cronk & Bill Slater both have stated he is a huge reason why the Storm have been successful
I heard during the week that Bretnall was in line to be head coach after Bellamy.

Not sure if true but wouldn’t think he would leave the Storm now while still a chance for the main job
