Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

So we have no $$$ for next year even are giving romey the flick or no players want to come again to this club? The new CEO is no richo
We spent quite a bit of money with all the re-signings that happened after the announcement he was leaving. But even if we hadn’t we’d still be struggling to recruit no players in their prime come to us. Or if they still have a bit left they lose it once they wear our colours.

Talk about an overreaction. Raiders got the penalty after he slapped Gagai. Klein blew a penalty to the Raiders. Then reversed it thanks to the bunker. The way it’s being portrayed is he went and slapped Gagai after he got the penalty. Ricky had a right to be pissed off but his reaction was way over the top. Bit of a disgrace how he’s being portrayed.
Who is portraying that he slapped him after the penalty? Is this is just what you thought had happened?

His actions cost his team a penalty where they could have levelled the score. Ricky’s reaction is due to consistent ill discipline from the same player.

If the penalty had gone to the Knights initially and not reversed, it would not even be a story. To be dropped and then told to find another club for it is insane.

Typical tiny kid we sign, god forbid we sign someone over 6 foot 2 or 100kg

Still recruiting the wrong players.

Granted I haven't seen this kid play and maybe he's the second coming of Benji but on the surface it looks like yet another undersized player with very limited potential for NRL. Yes he's you've and may grow, but our history suggests that's not going to be the case.

It's time to say no to players under six foot!!!!!
He's 15 yrs and only signed for next year. Not a big deal.

St George Illawarra recruit Keaon Koloamatangi is considering skipping the World Cup to undergo surgery and ensure he is fit for day one of pre-season training with his new club.

Let’s see if our boys make a similar sacrifice, AD, Bula cough.
Zero chance, they all love Benji and the club so much but not enough to make any small sacrifice for it....

I concur, Benji really is working holistically on the club, I truly believe the Luai move blindsided Benji and did a lot more disturbance than we thought as I think Benji had Jarome as the chief energy and attitude officer and Benji was hoping to have Luai there to mentor and guide Javon and Latu but slot of the planning was short circuited,, our 2 young halves could be anything, the6 both have so much potential if they can stay on the field and both improve their defence tackle technique the entire team would improve especially when Heywood is controlling the ruck and Roberts, CTM , taotua, duncombe, on the bench behind our pack of may, twal, S Fainu, kpp and hopefully a rejuvenated schuster ,,, I think Benji is close to having a really good team .. we are 3 class players short of being a force ,,, if we can play like we showed we can before the Cronulla game this year
Firstly it was Benji's decision to recruit Luai and put him in the position he did, you can't absolve Benji of any responsibility for what's happening. He wants to control everything then he has to wear the consequences when it goes to shit.

Secondly Both Benji and the club have destroyed any remaining credibility they had by the way they handled the AD situation.

It was incredibly weak to allow him back into the team with zero consequences. He intentionally leaked to the media on other team members and was rewarded with an immediate return to his favoured position.

The team is completely fractured which is why we are playing in such a pathetic manor and have been for the past 3 months. That's all on Benji, you don't get to have full control and no responsibility......
