The biggest problem with this team is that they are just so frustratingly, hugely dumb.
We have the biggest bunch of numbskull, boneheads ever assembled in the one team.
They have no football intelligence or general intelligence. When I watch them in the social media videos the club puts out the cringe factor is through the roof.
I don't know how they can fix that.

If he had that clause then he is more than welcome to leave. It would show his footy IQ is a bag of rocks. What is this obsession with the idea that there would be a mass exodus if Benji goes. I refuse to believe it. It hasn’t happened in 120 years, and I don’t think it would happen now with the most inept coach in the modern game. Let them all go if that’s how they feel, because they clearly don’t care about winning or improving as footballers. Would prove their main focus is living out their childhood dreams of having their hero run around with them during training drills. Stop obsessing over this BS.

At the end of the day although i agree GNR do we really care who goes. Over this club allowing players wanting so much say whether we are a bottom club or not. Idk what the answer is but the place needs to show some balls. What we are producing on and off the field is the joke of the league.

So many good, smart young coaches running around - Wolfe, Fitzgibbon, Holbrook, Payten & Webster to name a few and we end up with the clueless Marshall…oh but he loves the club and all the boys love him. Can’t play footy to save their lives, but as long as they all love each other and are having fun, it’s ok 🙄

Benji himself recently stated that lack of depth is one of the main contributors to our downward spiral this season, yet anyone who regularly watches the lower grades or even Blind Freddy can clearly see that based on the depth players we currently have innoutvtop 30 for 2027, we are far worse off than this season.
I think this confirms Benji does not watch the lower grades.

Benji himself recently stated that lack of depth is one of the main contributors to our downward spiral this season, yet anyone who regularly watches the lower grades or even Blind Freddy can clearly see that based on the depth players we currently have innoutvtop 30 for 2027, we are far worse off than this season.

I know it’s attrocious.
I know there is currently 1001 problems as to why we have imploded throughout this season, but ultimately lack of talent ID including over valuing some players and under valuing others is still the number one problem.
I would have expected that Benji would be very good at this if nothing else, but it’s becoming quite clear he has no long term vision on how to build a complete balanced top 30.
At full strength and IF they are all motivated to do the basics such as play with plenty of effort, run hard and tackle hard, I’d say our top 17 again looks quite competitive for 2027, but there has been no improvements made to add depth to problem areas and it means we are destined for another disaster as soon as injuries hit.

Talent identification is poor. But also developing players from those late teenage years onwards into better players is also poor.

Very reluctantly i am starting to agree with the possible signing of BA being a positive for our club.We need some reality and consequences not vibes in the squad and he should provide it.
