I wouldnt say the Dragons have poor forwards, I would not mind a few of them in Tigers colours

good young forwards but as a pack they haven’t been dominant . Next year may see them go up a lehel

He looks a little short of average for his age defensively. Definitely something he needs to work hard on. With his bigger frame im sure he will get to being a competent defensive half. Thats if we get some decent coaches in

I think that he is a bit hesitant to lower his head and dive into a tackle due to his back injury ,, just needs work on his technique and a bit more confidence as he has all the athleticism needed to be a teriffic defender as well as the instinct

KPP was getting miraculous offloads away as he was falling, he’s the X factor!
The offloads totally stopped when he got injured ..

No argument from me, as I always saw him as a top shelf signing, with great offloading being part of his repertoire.

Still, he stops more points than he brings, particularly as almost all teams primarily attack to their left, where he somewhat uncannily just seems to plug the area whilst lifting the whole edge defensively.

The reason went to shit with the injuries we had at the same time. Predominately when Sam and KPP were out.

More than likely they have verbally agreed with a few and are waiting for when they come off contract to officially announce it. They don't start playing until 2028.

England prop Matty Lees has been confirmed as the first Super League player to sign with the PNG Chiefs for their entry to the NRL in 2028.

They will have plenty of player/forwards in PNG who can just run the ball and tackle with physicality. All they need to do is get them fit.

All I know is we need to go shopping , we have Alverillo and Brailey coming , both ok signings but I feel we need another 3 similar nrl quality then top up for full time reserve grade , we most likely loose 6 to 8 players end of season , time to get the cheque book out , put on your best tigers shirt and book a few lunches , time to buy now and not wait for the left overs ( Prop , Centre / Wing , Backrower , ) of quality , don’t need to be guns just solid workers

Not easy when we have to pay 20% above market to get any decent players here....

Let me know when they sign someone new … now they have avoided the spoon ..not much otherwise to discuss…also …not sure if we will be having any more victories this season

We need a forward leader, a JFH type prop who puts fear into the opposition and inspires his team to greater heights. Otherwise we are still going nowhere. Is there any available out there? Probably not.

Matty Lees. From Super League but definitely one of the better props over there. Not sure how he will go living in PNG with the humidity but I think he will go alright in the Nrl

What’s the inside scoop with Luke Laulilii? I understand he wasn’t rated highly amongst many of you? He has slotted in well into our cup team from the glimpses I’ve seen from him so far.
