Benji has found a quality backup in Herbert. Some of his attack yesterday was fantastic, and he is a real competitor. You can tell he loves the fight.

If he can tidy up a few things, he'll keep pressure on May and Averillo next year.

To compete with the better sides we urgently need a 6 or 7 with a quality kicking game. It is the most important part of the game. At present we are at least 20m short of what’s required. From the very little I have seen of Andrews and Latu, both do not have long defensive kicking games.

Surely a good kicking coach can teach them to time the kick to get more distance?

Luai been average for years.. To'o has started falling off, Johnston is getting old, Manu hasn't played league in years, Lomax getting older and hasn't played league in years..

In their prime, this team wins a premiership.. in 2028 I think they barely make the 8..

Special mention goes to Seyfarth who has really led the way in the effort stakes. Probably less of a ceiling than most of our other forwards but has been giving 100%. Over the last 2 months his attitude has shown up the rest of our pack who could take a leaf out of his book.
Interesting what Benji said about May in the presser.

You might be right but I think it’s a skill your got or you haven’t and over the years there has not been a lot who have excelled at it. Guys like Cleary, Moses, Ricky Stewart in his day come to mind.Fogerty, DCE and Reynolds are also excellent

when the semis are on in the big games the wahs will likely melt under the pressure, and crap the bed
All this winning is good as it is making a price for some other teams

when they thumped penrith, penrith were without Edwards, yeoh for some of the game plus the hooker and casey McLean. If they get players back they should turn the tables.

some value in the dolphins at $8 if they can make the top 4, they have solid fowards and a good backline they look the danger to penrith and roosters

They are doing what the Dolphins did, get a bunch of hard headed experienced players to start off there campaign. They will be competitive from the first game but probably will dip as their first season progresses. Also compound life will not work for everyone and there will be players struggling in their new environment

I’m envisaging it like when you go to Fiji. It’s great for a few days but then you want to get out and about. Except in PNG you can’t.
