Talagi is not a halfback, he's a 5/8 and would only result in one of Andrews or Latu leaving the club.

He would be an absolute disaster for us. He's very average and would want big money and long term deal. Is he fast enough to p look at fullback or centre? Probably not.

The only player in that list worth considering would have been Conti. And he's re-signed.

Braith said on 360 that despite denials he heard that Deardens manager was shopping him to Sydney Clubs as early as April this year .

There’d only be a very few Sydney clubs that could fit him without a significant swap the other way .

It also might make some sense for getting Luai out early

And you want to stick someone whose defence isn't acceptable at lock

Rate Doueihi as a lock against the 16 other locks in the NRL
And secondly rate his defence against the other 16 locks in the NRL
When you accept he is the worst option in both categories....maybe ...just maybe you might accept why it is such a dumb idea

I tend to agree on many fronts but am open to seeing him there.
No problem in attack but defence is a different issue.
