Roosters can say that because they have 12-13 current or recent SOO players plus other internationals all under the salary cap. Strangely Penrith haven’t been able to do that so how do the roosters. By playing by different rules. No one can be compared to the roosters other than the broncos.

Frizell and Mann are risky signings as they are both 34 and 35 next year but if they play like they did this year it should provide better depth then the likes of Hope, Murray and Lanyon

Like anything its all dependant on how mich were paying them. If theyre on big money its terrible business. Im assuming though that they will be on a wee bit more than a minimum contract. Makes it smart business by adding proven experience into our depth. Theyre the type of players weve been craving. Tradesman types who just go out reliably and do theyre job.

Got a feeling Tyrone May will be linked again soon. He's got another year at Hull KR unless he has an NRL get-out clause, so he could be a possibility for '27 or potentially to replace Madden in '28.

Pretty sure r just re-signed for 2-3 years a few months back, didn't he?

Lol we usually just pick up the discards. Teams squeeze the best juice out of the oranges then send them along to WT to see if we can get another drop or two out of them. It’s sad.

And generally no more drops left.. remember Matt Ballin… he passed our medical….we must only check their breathing rate at medicals
