Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Is the great William Craig being re-signed?

I am done if he is.

Sam Verrils..roosters 1 season..$80k

I think I read they will upgrade him to the Top 30 mid season…. They must be doing it tough to save $40K 🙄

Grow up.

Why don’t you wake up for once in your miserable life?

Really rumour was he was going to Parramatta to replace Carr

Tyrell Sloan I thought was that replacement

If you offer Manase something it costs us very little but potentially means the other brothers may take less to extend

That’s a more glass half full view, I recommend it for your long lasting peace 🙏🏼

As far as NRL it costs us nothing as it'll be at most a NSW Cup deal

I think people are just speculating why Samuela Fainu’s contract is only 2 years and not longer

I wouldn't be surprised if Samuela only wanted an extra two years. Bloke at his age on his trajectory may back himself in becoming a top draw/rep level player by then so his next deal would be larger than if he signed a longer deal now

Thoughts on Blake Mozer? Plays hooker, was earmarked as the next big thing a few years back, but has been on an injury run. Has been told by the Broncos he can look elsewhere.

I'm happy to pass on Mozer. We've signed Brailey as the backup/bench hooker behind Api and that allows us to properly develop Haywood. Think we're good at Hooker

Those who old enough to remember if Manese did not go to jail he would of made farah, smith Api and the like look like child play.

If he can come back it could be game over with tigers not playing finals

[Camel2281]

hopefully that makes one of the young Roosters props available on the market

Lindsay Collins? When is he off contract. Although I would say Stefano replaces Spencer

Except you’re talking about the version of him that was 6 or 7 years younger and had not been in locked up all of that time.

We'd be that club that re-signs every forward at the club in a season
- except the best one you reckon B&W?
Be quickly running out of money you'd think...

I don't think Pole is our best forward. Defensively he is still prone to lapses

I’d guess Collins preference would be to go back to Qld if was to leave the Roosters.

Exactly, if the Salary Cap is projected to be 20 mil + by 2030 then contracts on 1 million per season will be a drop in the ocean

He staying at St George and it looks like the will let go of a forward to find the cash for him

I reckon it might be new stadium announcement, seeing as Leichhart is under renovation.
Or could be Samuela resigning as the streets shown at the start of the edit is in guildford/smithfield which is where Samuela is from.
