Jamal Fogarty is a specialist 7.
That’s what we need
This might be a fair observation if he had only started playing selfish footy on his current contract. A few years back he was reportedly on about $650k and still playing the same selfish footy.
If I had to make up a reason why (other than him being a selfish player generally), I'd say it comes back to his high school days. He is one of the few regular first graders that didn't come through one of the top school programs. He didn't have the quality around him that most did, so he often would of had to go himself. This play has been ingrained in him to the point we still see it today (though I think more likely just a selfish footballer, rather than anything to do with junior days).
True just not as a halfback. Can’t tell him that though 🙄Doueihi is in our starting 13 every week because he is one of our better players. There are few players in our team that can create or seize attacking opportunity as well as Doueihi does.
Wouldnt you rather Cleary? He hasnt said no ?I’m usually against signing 32-33 year olds. But Fogarty is a near must. We don’t have a pot to piss in with halves as it stands. Fogarty would give us desperately needed experience and leadership. And he’s a goal kicker. Two year deal would be ideal. Then try and lure a big fish.
You seriously don't think Fogarty would improve our squad. We need a 7 and we are not going to land a big fish. We're not the roosters and Fogarty is not DCE. Wake up.
LMAO you really are soft as baby shit.Mess with you. Are you threatening me?
You remind me of @voice_of_reasonI’m usually against signing 32-33 year olds. But Fogarty is a near must. We don’t have a pot to piss in with halves as it stands. Paseka is a big enough fish for me mate we should post this all on social mediaThen try and lure a big fish.
I prefer to live in reality.Wouldnt you rather Cleary? He hasnt said no ?
Great waste of the best years in your life as a single manHudson signs with PNG
Jock is a good organiser who straightens the attack, and has a good short kicking game...but cant defend..cant kick long...I
I apologise for butting into your conversation with kjng_sirro, but it’s a very good argument t and I am of the opinion that a largely no frills Jock Madden would look quite good at NRL level if he had the right amount of attacking flair around him.
We are 1 or 2 genuine attacking weapons away from having a genuine NRL quality attacking line up and that could be solved with natural improvement from some players we already have on our books, but until they show it, we are not quite there.
Roosters discard...never quite fulfilled his potential with us.Massive potential, I’d be trying very hard to lock him up for a few more years.
I believe Ryan Carr is extremely good at identifying and working with players who have massive potential, but need improvement with their attitude and/or confidence.
I reckon RC will quickly identify that Ethan Roberts is a potential superstar if he works hard and commits to start playing with more energy, more intent and more aggression.
Read somewhere that Paseka is looking for $900k...Agree he’d be good if you were paying $500k with Manly subsidising the rest but no room for Royce then
How long will they actually spend over there? Probably 7 or 8 months of the year if you include travelling for games, off season, leave etc. Think he will be fineGreat waste of the best years in your life as a single man
He will be climbing up the walls, although they cld be electified!
It wont last
I remember when I was that age,and....7 or 8 months in purgatory felt like a lifetime!!!How long will they actually spend over there? Probably 7 or 8 months of the year if you include travelling for games, off season, leave etc. Think he will be fine
