Fogarty for the next two years would be ideal. Only works if AD is offloaded.
After last year I’m shocked AD hasn’t been moved on.

Combination of Fogarty at 7 and Latu at 6 would improve the team. He’s a genuine 7 and experienced.

I actually think he is like that because he cant ball play. Its unnatural to him. Most natural ball players get off on putting someone through a hole rather than themselves making the break because its what comes so naturally to them. AD's ball playing is forced. What feels naturally to him is to run, so thats what he does. It blows my mind that the guy won't accept playing a position that plays to his strength.

The thing that stops him playing in a position that plays to his strengths is his weakness.

He needs to work on his defence and when he gets that right he can play lock or centre which are the positions that suit his current strength, although as you have stated his ball playing is also a major issue.

Whether his current or past injuries and mindset ever allow him to do that is another matter.

I’m usually against signing 32-33 year olds. But Fogarty is a near must. We don’t have a pot to piss in with halves as it stands. Fogarty would give us desperately needed experience and leadership. And he’s a goal kicker. Two year deal would be ideal. Then try and lure a big fish.

I think one year might be more ideal but obviously with 2 years left on his current deal, he certainly won't want to take anything less than that.

I made the comment because I have noticed this perception when it come to players of Lebanese descent, eg Benny Elias and Robbie Farah that they get an unfair hammering on here, even though they were 2 of the best players to ever play for the Tigers.

No doubt that there are a few bigoted racists, but it's not a "Lebs" thing as the vast majority praise Twal and did similarly so with the improved 2025 version of Doueihi, plus most wanted Sukkar retained on reasonable dollars.

As for the many bagging Adam for being a detrimental ball hog in the halves, then dogging the coach, teammates and supporters for a second time when told he was being moved, for mine too many still back him.

As @Vicious has alluded to it's because he is one of our only attacking threats Douhie is a better player then Latu at present. Latu is not the one calling the shots demanding selection in the starting halves he needs to prove he can play consistent first grade.
