Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Probably an unpopular opinion but, if we miss out on Rona I think we should go for SKD. He's a quality player at his best and can play center or wing. Look at Auv'a, Lodge and Packer for examples of players that can turn it around at a new club. He's obviously big a risk but, he wouldn't be able to ask for too much with his history. Anyway, just my 2 cents.

I agree if Rona stays in union, SKD while he has brain fades has more times of freakish tackle busting games.

Foxsports love clickbait articles.. They've been rehashing this Connor Watson story for months now

I did read somewhere that a certain recent (i.e. within the last month) high profile signing was having second thoughts about leaving his current club. The player in questions was exploring his options. Now we can discount the departing or departed Tigers players as no way would they be having seconds thoughts about leaving. So that leaves players like Reynolds or Bird that come to mind. The rumour is most likely bs but if it was Reynolds that is having second thoughts it may explain the Tigers interest in Watson or Gordon at fullback (with Lolo staying at 5/8). I'm sure Reynolds will honour his contract given the type of character that he is but I just thought our supposed continued interest in Watson seems odd as we have all the positions he can play fairly well covered (I know he could be a bench player but I think he would want a guaranteed starting spot to leave the Roosters). Anyway it may or may not explain our interest in Watson.

Except that Reynolds never had a choice regarding his future. The Bulldogs forced him out, how could he be having second thoughts?

Not surprised by this honestly. Anyone who was leaving the paradise of NSW for the hellish wasteland that is QLD, should be having second thoughts.

Wonder how much we have left in the cap.

Don't know how accurate my estimations are but, I have us at least 2mil, give or take, under a 9.5mil cap. That's just me guessing though, I could be way off.

Origin won't be a concern as we will have No Origin Players….Wests Tiger fan logic 101... :crazy

Goody a team full of ? Kiwis!

Origin won't be a concern then.

No, but consistency might be if the Warriors and the NZ national team are anything to go by.

There's only ever been one coach who consistently got the Warriors to the finals, including one GF. I'll let you figure out who that coach was.

Yes, he must be the Kiwi whisperer

How much are Lolohea, Packer and Milne on? I'm trying to get a feel of how much we've spent ahead of 2018.

No one can say for sure, but the numbers that have been speculated have been 250 for Tui and 700 for Packer. Not sure about Milne, but wouldn't be much more than 250.

Man, i sound like Darryl Kerrigan when asked how much jousting sticks are worth

''aww wouldn't be any more than 250''.
