Frozone 1 year extension for 2018

We need outside backs for depth and Kev offers good depth.

It's going to be strange next year with Kev, nofa, suli, milne, mwz, fonua, and Thompson available as outside backs. No superstars but I'd rather we spent big money on halves and forwards.

We've gained 2 wingers, and a centre, and lost nobody. Maybe Simona if you count him.

Yeah 2 months ago it would have been no way..but Naiqama has been good and lifted in both attack and defence….The added bonus he is a decent Fullback cover something we need..

Makes sense. Could be considered a development squad memeber also couldn't he?

If true, we are only one mobile forward short of a full squad. Perhaps Ivan considering Siro or Tatola for that final spot?

If we fill up the 30 bus seats and someone comes available through the fire sale, how does it work? If we sign them does the lowest paid player of the thirty get bumped out and if so, what does that mean exactly?

I'd really like to know how this top 30/36 works. We need to field two teams don't we (NRL and ISP). So effectively need to have a minimum of 34 positions filled. What happens to the players that are outside of the 30 that are required to be part of isp team?

Nothing really changes..NRL have a feeder ISP teams which now contain players that aren't contracted to the NRL squad…As an example the likes of Billy Kitt, Luke Garner, Jerry Key State Cup/Ron Massey contracts not NRL contracts so are fine to play ISP but wouldn't play NRL...

It just means you will have 13 players that are NRL contracted players + Development players playing for the ISP team on any given week plus others which will not play NRL..
