Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Kev might get you out of a jam and fill in at no1 for a week and do a job, but It would be scary if he had the gig for a month or two

From what I have seen over the past six weeks our pack will be good and we have depth in the forwards but we really lack speed and height on our flanks and certainly we need a plan b for the no1 in case LoLo gets injured or doesn't cut it

Kev is the plan B for all the positions you have mentioned.

You have no idea how depressed that makes me

It may end up being Kev, but I've been told enquiries have been made about a former origin player. It will probably turn out to be nothing

I got told a while ago that Reece Robinson (currently at the Waratahs) was trying to get himself back to League and he was sounding out the Tigers. I don't know if anything came of it or not?

He can kick goals and could cover Fullback and Wing.

No idea if it's on the money or not? It was someone who works in the back-office for the Waratahs who told me, but as I said it was a while ago and I haven't seen any mention of it.

Like I said it was only an enquiry as the realisation is there that Tui may struggle to get enough weight off and there is no plan B.

As for the player, the club may have made enquires on any of the above and probably do all the time on any players, but the one I heard was sussed out again last week was Moylan

I have heard the Brett Morris one as well, Fairly strong rumour, the sticking point is the length of the contract.

Wouldn't offer any more than 2 years, especially with his knees.

Don't worry about Tui - he has lost 5-6kgs already since he has been here.

Wouldn't want the Morris's - past their use by date and Moylan, not as good as Tui.

You have confidence in Tui.
