Like I said it was only an enquiry as the realisation is there that Tui may struggle to get enough weight off and there is no plan B.

As for the player, the club may have made enquires on any of the above and probably do all the time on any players, but the one I heard was sussed out again last week was Moylan

Don't worry about Tui - he has lost 5-6kgs already since he has been here.

Wouldn't want the Morris's - past their use by date and Moylan, not as good as Tui.

Then Tui must have been enormous. He was still fat at the Roosters game.

Im a fan of Tui, but better than Moylan? Not on this planet.

Why would Penrith want to let Moylan go?

Agreed, could not see it happening, but of course football clubs funny things happen and players are sometimes moved on for reasons that are not related to football.

Also I guess Moylan is on big money so maybe they want to use that money to lock up son of Ivan and they are happy with the 1 6 and 7 that is running around at present.

As you said, can't see it having legs, but would jump at him if he fell into our lap

I'd be happy with Moylan at fullback, so long as he gets his attitude in check.
It's all about the team, not him.

I doubt we will be able to get Moylan away from the Panthers.

Considering the Panthers' cap problems, his discipline issues with Penrith, he previously played under IC and was actually given his debut by Cleary, and the previous rumour going around this forum that Moylan had a little talk to Nathan Cleary about roster spots open at the Tigers (probably no substance to it, but I clearly remember the post a couple months back), I wouldn't be at all surprised if he did come here. Then again, these are all just rumours. Who knows

I wouldn't necessarily chase Moylan. But surely we are kidding ourselves if we think he wouldn't be our first choice in 6 or 1 next year?

We all knew he was overweight - he had saddlebags in clear sight. They are not so obvious now that he has shed a few kilos. He said himself that he still has a few to go.

From what you read into what is said etc. Moylan is not that well liked by a lot of team mates - do we want someone with that attitude etc. at the Tigers. You may, I don't. Is the info true or even close to the mark - who knows, I don't want to take the risk.

Maybe Tui is not as good at the moment but I think he will be. Glennb, you are obviously a Moylan fan, I am a Tui fan - let us leave it at that.

Tui looks fat all Polynesians have fat faces i think half you lot just look at his face because he has lost weight.

Moylan and Cleary jr together would be the start of a new big 4 situation

No to Moylan, yes to Cleary jr

Exactly.

I dont get all negativity that Moylan cops. He is a gun. I believe he is the best 5/8 in NSW. Terrific footballer who demands the ball when the game is on the line. Thats the type of playmaker you want.

Yeah if we signed him (which is 100% not going to happen) then he would be our best signing for 2018 hands down. Seems like a tool and has a highly punchable face but is a great playmaker and a game breaker on his day.

I personally like Tui and think he will be a much better proposition next year with a good preseason under Ivan,he has room for improvement….Moylan is a good footballer, but is he a Moses mk2.??..if he has a bad attitude at the Panthers do we need him at our club especially since we have established a good culture...I honestly think this team and club has gone ahead in leaps and bounds since Ivans inception,we really need it to continue...how about we let Ivan do his job for the remainder of his tenure and then we will see how far we have improved as a competitive team and profitable club with no salary cap debts to impact us in future recruitments....as the wise man once told me when I was doing my business management course ""if your liabilities outway your assets, then you are in all sorts of trouble""maybe our liabilities have now ceased and we are becoming a well funded and smart business organisation..

Well, I guess Moylan already knows how to pass it to the Tigers players. Didn't he throw 2 intercept passes in one game last year? 1 to Noff and 1 to he who shall not be named.

Where did this Moylan stuff come from? I thought it was debunked a long time ago.

If there is any truth in the rumour I'll break into my son's Piggy Bank and he can contribute to the purchase.

Big call,

I would have Gutherson in #6 for NSW next year before Moylan

King Gutho will be if Fitler is the coach
