_@Giantsrl have withdrawn their offer to Jackson Hastings due to 'unrealistic demands'_

Wonder what the 'unrealistic demands' were?

Hardly was in a position to make many..

Tevita Pangai Junior has not signed a contract for next year.

TPJ, Sua, Fifita, Haas Ofenhagouie.. My god if broncos get decent halves and keep this lot they will we devastating in 2-3 years..

Some Brisbane reporter was saying on the news TPJ signing is basically a done deal but Oates is considering an offer else where.

During the Q&A on Friday , Ivan CLeary was asked
if he was looking to bring anymore players into the squad.
His reply to that , was , that there will be close to half a dozen
new faces next year.

We still have at least 12 or 13 spots to fill for our top 30 next year, so it’s a guarantee.

See Milky’s post. He went through who in the top 30 is contracted for 2019, and he had it at only 16.

Heath?
Whats the goss?

Was granted a release and has signed with Newcastle

Back to where he came from eh?
Was a development player yea?

Prob couldn't handle living away from home.
Looks a bit light for any future first grade opportunities.

Thought that he came from further up the coast at Port Macquarie, but Newcastle would be less daunting than a large city for some.

Another hole in the centre ranks for WT that needs to be filled.

He is certainly not a Newcastle product. I believe he came originally from Bourke. McIntyre is from Port Macquarie.

We've got next to no elite talent in this age group and absolutely no elite centres with any kind of pace. We need a huge influx of elite talent most especially young fast and talented centres? Bronson Xerri is the player we should be after,.

So where is all the talented juniors from that huge junior area of the Southwest or is this being shown up for what it is a falsehood . The club has to have a long hard look at the direction it is taking as at present playing games and the propagation of junior talent does not seem to be working out to well from that area!

I don't know why this comment is in this thread - why don't you start up a " I hate Campbelltown " thread and put it in there.

We need to have a mature debate about this issue. For better or worse, we've seen Woods, Moses, Brooks, Tatola, Douelhi and Suli emerge from the Balmain juniors. We've had Tedesco, Nofoaluma and Sue from Wests Campbelltown in fairly recent times. In terms of its size, we are not seeing quality or quantity. Is it that the best are being pilfered by other clubs; our talent identification and retention is not up to it? Can someone provide details?

We only have 6 spots for next year

There’s 22 players signed for next year so 8 spots to fill.

Nathan Clearly don't forget him as well something is happening if he is making an announcement in November who he has signed his next contract with when November is the first month of the year that you can sign with another club for 2020 but I think he will be here in 2019

Nathan his manager Clearly senior and Pascoe had a meeting in April together Gould has said many times if he wants to leave he can and also the Peaches contact has not been registered with the NRL and wants to stay at Penrith and the fact that Gould has tried to resign Nathan for over a year and every time it's been no

Sounds plausible. Hope you’re right. If so I wonder what the long term thinking is? Seems 3 high profile halves is one too many
