Surely we make a play for Barba
Then move Mbye to the Halves with Brooks
And add Napa to our front row with Packer Matalino and Twal

Come on
Make it happen

Mbye needs to stay at FB - that's his best position, and he is starting to show exceptional form.
Barba? Not so sure we need him now.
Forwards first, second and third and then think about some outside backs.

Agree on Mbye and Barba comments, but we only have Marsters and maybe Fonua at centre for next year, and wing is also a problem, we need to address that before we can think about top 8.

We need that centre from Manly. Was earlier talk but seems to have gone quiet. I’ve watched him a bit this year - he is the goods I think

If we got him and Feke, then load up on forwards we might be ok

My understanding is Mikaele has only ever played front row. I wouldn't be moving him from there just yet.

Like all young forwards he's got some improvement to make in defence. There is a lot of potential there though, I'd like to see him up his minutes in ISP and look at playing a few games off the bench next year.

Unless we sign a couple of props I reckon he's a good chance to be on the bench next season.

Looking at the ISP highlights clip, I saw a new prop running around for us out there in jersey number 19 .. I think his name is Lolohea .. crikey what the hell has been eating .. !!

He's been bingeing on food since his break up with Ivan.

Yep noticed it as well. He had something strapped to his stomach which made it look worse, but he’s definitely put on some beef.

And people kept saying fitness wasn’t an issue for him.

I heard Gould putting out a bushfire on a Trent Barrett rumour. He said that Manly don't have the salary cap to buy or to retain players off contract. Brian Kelly?

Haven't seen a great deal of this Robson, Whats his position and his greatest attributes?

Can probably play anywhere…

Anywhere in the backline.. Or halves.. Or hooker and second row.
Has been carving it up this year every where.
\
\
Centre probably his best position for mine..
But also enjoyed seeing him play hooker.

Would be the perfect #14

Well if Robson was to be promoted to the top 30, Farah and Marshall both re-sign and McQueen stays - on my calculation, that leaves only 3 spots in the 30 to fill. Not enough - we need more of an injection to the playing group than that, so something has got to give from that scenario.

I refer to my last post above - 2019 Top 30 List below (Courtesy of The POM, and in no particular order):

1\. Luke Brooks
2\. David Nofoaluma
3\. Josh Reynolds
4\. Ben Matulino
5\. Russell Packer
6\. Jacob Liddle
7\. Mahe Fonua
8\. Corey Thompson
9\. Josh Aloiai
10\. Tyson Gamble
11\. Michael Chee Kam
12\. Alex Twal
13\. Esan Marsters
14\. Chris McQueen
15\. Chris Lawrence
16\. Elijah Taylor
17\. Matt Eisenhuth
18\. Robbie Rochow
19\. Moses Mbye
20\. Oliver Clarke
21\. Luke Garner
22\. Sam McIntyre
23\. Thomas Mikhaele
24\. Dylan Smith
25\. ?
26\. ?
27\. ?
28\. ?
29\. ?
30\. ?

So adding Farah, and possibly Marshall (although I am not sure whether Benj will go again), we'd have only 4 spots left unless we somehow lose/trade one of our contracted players.

Yet they just signed Elgey who was said to be on 600k a year at the Titans.

Pretty safe to say he'd be on a whole lot less than that now given his form over the last 18 months.
