I don't post on that forum, just look every now and then. If he is coming, his recruitment is consistent with the much smarter buys at the junior level we've had since Dave Warwick arrived at the club.

This is a done deal as far as the Roosters are concerned. They are getting increasingly tough to like with these continued top of the market raids on other clubs
I guess having a billionaire "owner" makes it easier to splash the cash away from the prying eyes of the salary cap

Could not agree more… Cronk was doing some kind or degree / studying after playing days and he even said that was discussed when making the deal with roosters and made his decision easier. I read that as Roosters are paying for this and not to worry.
This SO called Salary cap stuff is just rotten and even blind freddy and see it. I would love to see a person that is loaded with money get involved and take the NRL to court just to stop these SO call TPA and side payments.

What do you call having Brett Hodgson and Pat Richards on our coaching staff?
Both have worked hard in the UK for awhile. They know the game there and know other coaches. We can feed them our reserve grade, Kev Naquama comes to mind. They can then let us know who has itchy feet to cross the tasman.

They only reason they recruit so many Poms is cos players here don’t wanna move down there. Pommies probably see Canberra similarly to home. Both weather and excitement wise.
