We have a group of young players in ISP who are obviously NRL players in waiting. We have a coach renowned for bringing through young players a changing of the guard will occur this year. Our club needs to continue to build by buying the best of the young players recruited by David Warwick. There is not use in spending big in the hope of success. Build from within.

Build from within and get the guts picked out by other clubs. Sure need to find the happy medium. Bring in guys who can mentor what we are bringing up. Need some quality.

One thing I.Cleary did well (maybe the only thing) was improve the club with mid-year signings. Signing MBye was a major coupe, although this year his form is well down, last year it did wonders for us.

Would love a big signing mid year this year, D.Edwards, J.Tapine, either one would be great

@pawsandclaws1 The Roosters thank you for keeping there pathway of player talent open to them ... this way of trying to get talent on the cheap is flawed , it is rob from the poor to give to the rich only our club could think this is a good thing !

Wow. They just said in the Tigers game, Latrell Mitchell had only 10 touches of the ball. He scored 3 tries and set up 2 more. Offer him $1.5m a year for 10 years, I doubt he'd come if we offered him $2m a year, but he is so worth it.

He's a good player, don't know if he's off contact next year though.

@Snake I'd suggest our failure to appreciate the talents of Korobeite and JAC are the reason we don't have fast wingers. Had we appreciated their talent rather than taking a narrow and short sighting view, we would not have the lack of pace issues we have in our backline.

Tedesco is the only player who has gone to the Roosters and that was the more to do with the lack of commitment to the Wests Magpies and WTs by him, noting his previous attempt to go to the Raiders.

Liddle made a massive difference when he came on. Our attack suddenly clicked and we made several breaks and half breaks which he set up. His delivery was good, defence was fine. He needs to play more and more each week and we'll then see if we need to sign a starting hooker or a backup one.

I think packer is a serial bludger....in the Adam Blair mould....dont know if we can afford that many grenades
