Not buying the Crichton rumour for a minute. Just manufactured due to him copping a spray from Robinson. It will be the making of him.

We should focus on the Martins, DWZ's and even look at Lincon Lewis.

Yeah Chooks wouldn't have moved heaven and earth to get him there just to rissole him 3 months into the season.

Cant we shop him around in the Super League???

there should be some gems over there that are worth grabbing?

What was Jack Gibson's favourite quote about props ....when you think you have enough sign one more

I thought it was Wok, you my be right

I forget who it was, but a coach in the 70's said
"A good football team needs, 2 Props in Reserve grade, 2 Props in 1st grade and another 2 Props suspended".

@Spartan117 What is the go with Packer? Still wetting himself in stadiums or just lost form?

Out of favour with Madge it would seem.

If I recall correctly didn't Madge punt him from the Kiwi's squad as well?

@Cultured_Bogan He retired from Rep footy.....come to think of it, it wasn't very much longer (Good English) after Madge got appointed NZ Coach

Someone mentioned Packer has done a hip no idea if true.

No chance he will be taken off our hands if he has.

Greenturd will say he cant be medical retired because he has another hip while he blows into Inglis's alcohol interlock device.

@Cultured_Bogan young collins at the roooters will be much better than crichton. he and matterson in the backrow now that would be great.

@bptiger Yeh we need some young talent......does anyone know which team has the youngest average age this year??? Definitely not storm since Cam Smith is about 50

Someone on the league unlimited is saying Dufty is on his way to Concord. Take this with a truck load of salt.

It would be great if true. Maybe also bring Jai Field and Jason Saab with him.

Cool and who of those 3 is going to do any tackling?

I've heard the same rubbish about JAC and Korobeite from various supporters. The thing about it is you can coach tackling technique but pace not so much?

You can teach tackling technique but you can't necessarily turn someone into a decent defender. Thurston worked hard on his game but was a rubbish defender in the line from start to finish...I don't think any (first grade) team needs Field and Dufty both. If we were shopping at that end of the market I'd prefer Drinkwater to either anyway.

JT wasn't the greatest defender but he put his butt on the line every time he took the field and went into every tackle with 100 % intent
