@TheDaBoss so whats the point of the video have we signed one of them if so which one

Just a suggestion

Please refrain from suggestions and rumours in this thread, as a cursory glance at most of it's 1705 pages of posts will show them to be out of place.

No one in particular, but any player that runs fast, can catch a footy and pull off an occasional tackle would be a welcome addition to our snails.

Yeah posting a suggestion is fine I reckon I mean on page 250 something I suggested we sign Taumalolo..

but to avoid confusion perhaps rather than just a youtube clip add some text for context..

@formerguest he’s only being Chee-ky @TheDaBoss, we love you

Where's @Milky these days, did he go to uni and get a GF and get all busy? Used to have a million signing suggestions and video clips.

Sharks signed second row forward Kayleb Milne from the Storm, a Junior Kiwi forward at 193cm and 103kg prior to 30 June. The Sharks have a great scouting system.

Similar discussion on Sharks forum about overs for Moylan, Dugan and Townshend and how that will hold them back from purchases.

I can't imagine Townshend being much of a burden. He's been solid every year and gels well with everyone it seems. You don't have to be an outright superstar to be good value. I can understand frustration at Matt "The Spitter" Moylan and Dugan.

Gee it would be good to somehow jag Peachey for 2020. I reckon he would need to take a haircut on pay but GC are likely to cut him loose at year end. Hasn't had a great season but does have X-factor which we lack.

June 30 has past with the normal mediocre fizzle that the club is renown for ! With a large contingent coming off contract at seasons end it will be interesting to see who the club has in mind ,hopefully a lot more positive than the effort put into the June 30 deadline but with this lot I would not hold my breath .

@Snake I think the club is managing the cap better now and not making signings for the sake of it. I know it’s frustrating but feel the club is building bit by bit. Hopefully 2020 and 21 we will be even stronger.

I imagine 2020 will include a much younger roster, more rookies, as we battle the salary cap with penalties and plodders on enormous contracts. I know its a while away but November 2020 is going to be when we are active with a considerable amount of cash freed up. Need to buy smart at this time or can expect our current issues to resurface all over again.

How many do we have signed for 2020? My count is 23-24

Going by the contract sticky I put up, there's 23, including Talau and Seyfarth.

Agreed, knee jerk signings are counterproductive in the medium/long term you need to carefully target players for the future.Ad hoc does not work
