That’s really odd, I wonder why we never gave him a chance? I still think he would be a better centre prospect for us to chase than Parker. Parker is not as strong and he looks a little clumsy to me.

I think he is the player we signed before Taylor joined and after Taylor signed with the club he said that he didn't want him!

Correct.

Takairangi was signed just after Potter was fired, but you would assume Potter was involved in ongoing negotiations. JT kaiboshed the deal when he was hired, so the contract was never executed.

What I can’t believe is that Madge has allowed him to just meander around each week for so long this season without a rocket. Doesn’t seem like the type of coach who puts up with bludgers for too long, yet Esan has had a pass mark all year.

@GNR4LIFE He was playing for the Storm against Titans. Remains to be seen how durable he will be once he is targeted when he gets a permanent spot. Small frame fullbacks not so effective in modern game. While Bellamy has the luxury of letting him roam he will always be a threat though.

@jirskyr Takairangi was entirely signed by Grant Mayer, when we didnt even have a coach. Taylor then came and didnt want him as he had worked with Taka at the Roosters and said he had a bad attitude. We then paid $180k of his $220k deal with the Eels for the next 3 years. Mayer was a complete and utter clown who did more harm to the club then just about nayone
