We need to get either Reynolds or Packer off the books for 2021, if not both. A lot of quality coming onto the market and we need all the cap space we can muster.

I think Geo’s scale needs to incorporate potential for brain farts. Matt Utai and Action Jackson Kaufusi are probably the benchmarks there.

I couldn't agree less. Many plodders never ever have a brainfart. Sometimes they never even pass the ball! There should be completely different scale for Crazed Hotheads (Corey Payne, Luke O'Donnell) and whatever the nickname is for people who consistently make the wrong decision. (we've had a few on that scale, even amongst our best).

There are a bloody heap on this forum.

Agree we need another scale for hotheads/bezerkers. I remember LO’D completely lose the plot against us once. Got penalised three times in a minute and then got binned. Good times…

@WT2K David Furner is linked with the Knights as the assistant coach as well. Walters is just an average fill in .. what 25 years young and only had 2 game as a bench player in the NRL .. why .. not good enough to make the top grade .. ?? Strange buy if we get him, and if we do get him i hope he's better than his record shows.

I think the bloke in front of him is someone called Smith.

The Wests Tigers are expected to announce the signing of Billy Walters in the coming days. Walters, the son of Queensland coach Kevin Walters, will be brought to the Tigers as a back-up for Benji Marshall next year.

There’s also a job going at the Wests Tigers as Michael Maguire’s assistant after he informed Craig Sandercock his services wouldn’t be required next year. (Talking about David Furner as an assistant)

not sure where to put this and its the usual friend i wont reveal thing but i have heard we have a few players being moved on but it wont be announced until seasons end. Dudes a real close mate of mine and works very high up just not in our club. Without saying it he hinted at mcqueen and reynolds and like it has been said before they will try to get mats retired with an exemption during the off season.

It’s already out there re grub, and it’s been mentioned by a couple of posters who claimed they had inside info that McQueen was told he could go.

Reynolds, McQueen, Mats and Packer. All 4 major signings from last year. Staggering really. Who’d have thought at the time Thompson would turn out to be the MVP of those signings.

What about Marshall and or Farah ??
